If You're A Christian, People Need Your Help

1st Timothy 6:17-19, “Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.”

       In our text passage of Scripture above, the phrase “LAY HOLD ON ETERNAL LIFE” doesn't mean getting saved; but rather, laying hold on the eternal life that you already posses (if you're a Christian). God is telling us as born-again believers to make the best of what we already have, investing for eternity, because that is where we are soon going. So many believers, who are washed in the blood of Jesus and gloriously born-again, live from day-to-day only thinking about this earthly life. They are literally hurting themselves, because when they arrive in Heaven, they're going to finally realize all the blessings that they forfeited by not serving God while on earth. So many people let the failures of yesterday, and fear of the future, rob them of the joy of serving God today. If you've fallen down, get back up and serve the Lord!

My friend, someone needs your help, whom only you can help. You are the only Jesus that someone knows. There are people who respect you, or look up to you, or value your opinion—people whom no one else could ever witness to like you can. There is a group of people that no one can reach except YOU. Please don't let them go to Hell.

America is plagued with hundreds of popular millionaire preachers, who help themselves more than anybody. Pastor Rick Warren has a net worth of $25,000,000 and Pastor Joel Osteen of $40,000,000. These are not true servants of God. It was reported recently that more than half of all working Americans earn $30,000 or less per year. Evangelist Billy Graham gets paid over $300 per hour (which amounts to over $633,000 a year)! Why should Billy Graham get paid over 20 TIMES what the average U.S. worker gets paid per year?

The first thing that you need to understand is that the media are the key component in making someone filthy wealthy. If you play along with the New World Order, promoting one or more of their agendas, then the Luciferian members of the Illuminati have you promoted to fame and fortune status! Those who refuse to sell-their-soul to do evil have to actually make an honest living. Max Lucado promotes open borders, trashing out America's sovereignty! Billy Graham has done extensive damage to corrupt the churches, propagating a works-based false plan of salvation that unites unbelieving Catholics with Protestants, resulting in unbelieving evangelicals. The Church of England is totally apostate, requiring water baptism for salvation. Likewise, America's churches are being corrupting, but instead by the heresy of Lordship Salvation (which is nothing more than the heresy of Calvinism in disguise).

Roman Catholicism is of the Devil; yet Billy Graham has influenced America's evangelical churches to become silent, sinfully compromised, and to tolerate apostate Catholics. Most Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) is so wishy-washy, weak in its message, and lacking of the Gospel, that Roman Catholics are often big fans. In fact, many of the most popular CCM groups are Catholics!!! Yet, evangelical churches invite them into the churches as if they are brethren (which they are not). I'm not trying to be unkind to anyone, but nearly every church has their priorities all wrong today. The satanic teaching of Lordship Salvation has invaded many Independent Baptist churches. It's of the Devil, corrupting “the simplicity that is in Christ” (2nd Corinthians 11:3-4).

Make sure you haven't been deceived by the Devil. I love the famous radio program “Unshackled” produced by Pacific Garden Mission in Chicago, but I've heard some damnable doctrines of devils lately in some of their episodes, teaching that salvation requires turning from sin on a continuous ongoing basis in order to be saved. That is the heresy of Lordship Salvation, and it does not produce the new birth by faith alone in Christ Jesus. Repentance is a change of mind that compels a person to believe the Gospel (Mark 1:15 - King James Bible), and not a change of life that God requires to validate one's faith in the Gospel.

People need your help to see the truth concerning salvation. I encourage you to distribute materials to help others. I gave a copy of the excellent book, “I NEVER KNEW YOU,” by Michael P. Bowen this week to my doctor. Hard copies are available. I love to burn YouTube sermons about salvation to CD and pass them out to people. This is a great way to reach people for Christ. It allows them to hear the truth in their own private time, at home, without any pressure, and to soak-up the truth. These are little things that can produce big results if the Holy Spirit is involved. Make sure to pray for each person that you are trying to reach for Christ. Ask God to work in their heart. As believers we have so much to gain in eternity by serving God here in this temporary world. We are admonished in our text passage above, “be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God.” Respectfully, I hear numerous guests on The Alex Jones Show, Dr. Ron Paul's website, Gerald Celente, and umpteen other popular internet websites, continually pushing silver and gold as a safe and wise investment (which is true from a worldly perspective). However, never a word is said by any of these same websites about the free gift of eternal life, through faith in Christ Jesus. I don't mean to just narrow-out these men in particular, because what I am saying is true of thousands of voices in cyberspace and radio.

I've been listening regularly to Alex Jones (who professes to be a Christian) since 2002 and I've NEVER heard him preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, not even once to his tens-of-millions of viewers. I love Alex and his staff, and he's one of my mentors. Yet, kindly, Alex has to give account to God for each and every listener who goes to Hell, and their blood will be on his hands (just as I have to give account for the people under my influence who I fail to witness to). Soul-winning is not a suggestion or calling, it is a royal command in the Holy Bible for every Christian believer. 1st Corinthians 9:16, “For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!”

Everywhere we turn we are bombarded with alluring ads, both on and off the internet, to invest in our earthly future. The truth is that you could be in eternity by the end of the day. People need to hear the Gospel. Never a word is mentioned to Christian believers about investing in souls for eternal wealth. You see, there's no money to be made here-and-now on earth by investing for eternity. Sad to say, 95% of so-called “Christian” websites would disappear over night if they weren't selling something to make money. Religion has become a lucrative racket in the world. Always remember that salvation is not found in any religion; but rather, in a Person—the Lord Jesus Christ!

And again in our precious text passage of Scripture from Philippians 4:6-7 we ought to bathe our life in prayer. The Bible says, “IN EVERY THING BY PRAYER AND SUPPLICATION WITH THANKSGIVING and LET YOUR REQUESTS BE MADE KNOWN UNTO GOD.” I love that! It's better to pray for 5 seconds, than never to pray at all. Remember that! God simply wants YOU to know that you need Him, because God gives grace to the humble but resists the proud (James 4:6). My, how people are so sinfully proud these days. We all have to struggle with the sin of pride daily, which is the root of all sins, putting our self before God and others. Americans have a horrible attitude of entitlement, feeling like the world or the government or our parents owe us something; but nobody owes either you or I anything!!!

Some Christians feel like they're doing God a favor by sharing the Gospel, but it is our duty. God owes us nothing; yet He so wonderfully promises to reward us for our every labor (1st Corinthians 3:8), even giving a cup of water in a disciple's name (Matthew 10:42). What a great and generous God!!! Praise the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, for He is precious, beautiful, and worthy of our deepest love and worship!!!!!!! God is so good to all of us!!! 1st Corinthians 9:16, “For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!” The Apostle Paul said the Gospel needs to be preached. It is a necessity. Paul refused to receive any glory or praise for doing what needs to be done.

The U.S. economy is getting really bad, and it can only get much worse with the reckless debt-spending of taxpayer money by the government. And may I say, although big government is definitely the obvious major problem in our country, ultimately the blame falls upon the individual citizens, especially God-fearing Christians, who remain idle and silent, not lifting a finger to fight the wickedness and corruption. Evil men prosper when good men do nothing! It's Time To Come Out Of The Closet (MP3, Dr. Jack Hyles; where were the 7,000 Christians in Elijah's day who didn't bow their knee to the false god of Baal?).

Where are the millions of born-again Christians in America, who silently hide in the background while a few faithful men of God fight the good fight of faith? They need your help on the frontlines, or bringing up support from the rear. If you're not fighting the battle, then get behind someone who is and help them. Through my website ministry, I promote the Bible-preaching of faithful men of God, doing what God has enabled me to do to help OTHERS, to help fight the good fight of faith. Find a local pastor in your town who preaches the King James Bible, preaches soul-winning, and get behind him in the church, helping to uplift holy hands. WE ARE AT SPIRITUAL WAR!

Something as seemingly harmless as a television has become Satan's primary weapon of choice to indoctrinate the public with brainwashing propaganda (which has been unbelievably effective duping the American people). 2nd Corinthians 4:4 teaches that the Devil BLINDS THE MIND of people, to hinder them from learning the glorious light of the Gospel. There are so many satanic, religious, and good looking, substitutes for the Gospel, that hardly anyone is getting saved today. Most religious people are going to Hell, because they are trusting in works instead of God's grace. Satan knows that the most effective lie is the HALF-TRUTH.

A perfect example of a half-truth is the deception of Lordship Salvation, which claims to be the gift of God, while at the same time requiring that a person forsake sinful behavior and surrender their life to Christ to obtain it, or validate it. This is satanism! The genuine gift of God is without works of any kind (Romans 4:5-6), totally free without obligation or requirement (Ephesians 2:8-9), obtained simply by childlike faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). May we all labor diligently as Christians to preach the Gospel to the lost, locally, regionally and throughout the world. This is why we support missionaries through local churches. Amen.

People need your help my friend. God didn't save us to BE GOOD, but to DO GOOD, as Dr. Jack Hyles beautifully explains in his classic sermon titled, “Our Mixed Up Fundamental Christianity” (MP3). There is something that every believer can do for God, if we care enough to do so as God's children. Time is running out! The Lord's return is nearer than ever before. Even if the Lord tarries, today could be the last day of your life, or someone else's earthly life. There is nothing more important, nor greater a gesture, than to share the Gospel with another human being. If we don't witness with the Gospel, then who will? If we don't take a stand for God, then who will? If not now, when? If not here, where? If not us, then who?

True happiness in life comes from serving the Lord. Once you start sharing the Gospel with others, life will become meaningful and full of purpose. There is no joy like serving God, and contending for the Christian faith, and helping others in Jesus' name, and most of all, knowing that your name is written in Heaven in the Lamb's Book of Life (Revelation 20:15). Thank God for the opportunity to serve Him. The true measurement of my success in life won't be how many people show up to say goodbye when I die, but how many people are waiting to greet me in Heaven. Dr. Jack Hyles said that, and he's right.
