I was visiting the Jesus is Savior
website today and found this, which I knew I had to post about immediately.
Last I heard, there were a shocking 900 Bible versions on the market. Today
I found that number has grown considerably: over 1,000 more?!! If this
doesn’t seem wrong to you, then you need to get right with God, because God
authored only one, that’s ONE, BOOK, the beloved and trusted King James
Bible!!
The Devil knows people. He knows that people, on the average, are gullible
and refuse to think for themselves. They want to do, say, and think like
everybody else, hence the term “SHEEPLE.”
So since Satan knows this, he is authoring an ever higher number of trash
bibles that couldn’t get anyone saved any more than reading the newspaper.
He uses “copyrights” to snare people into his selfish schemes of “I want to
do it my way,” and these bibles, since they are so watered down and
impotent, have absolutely NO power to influence the hearts of those who are
lost to be born again. The more corrupt bibles come out and are sold, the
worse the spiritual climate of a body of people. Hardly anyone uses the
tried and true King James anymore. It’s so sad. Fact is, to get people SAVED
is to show them that they’re LOST and bound for Hell, and NONE of these
PERversions can do that.
The most well-known (or should I say, infamous) bibles in my opinion are the
NIV and the NKJV (which is nowhere near the King James Bible). They were
only the beginning of the false bible issue, because they’ve been around the
longest and are the most popular. If you look at this list, you’ll see
bibles (and I hate to refer to them as such) that you’ve never seen before.
This is solid evidence of the apostate condition of the churches. Nobody
wants the truth of the KJB, to study it, to make it your own, to meditate on
it, and live by it. Do you honestly think that people will study the Bible?
No way! Do you think they’ll live by these PERversions? You bet they will,
because these so-called bibles are so totally non-offensive and meaningless
that nobody will get either offended OR saved. As the saying goes, MONEY
TALKS!!
People hate the King James Bible because it convicts them as sinners bound
for Hell. They hate it because it tells of the bloody sacrifice that the
Lord Jesus Christ endured for all mankind. They hate it because God says
many times that there is a literal Hell that burns with fire and brimstone.
They hate it because God says He will cast ALL unbelievers into the Lake of
Fire for eternity. They hate it because God is not just love, but just and
holy. People only want the LOVE of God, and not the JUDGMENT of God. You
can’t have it both ways, my friend. It’s either you receive the truth in the
KJB or lies of the Devil (all 1,901+ versions).
Another reason people hate the KJB is because that they need to only BELIEVE
on Jesus’ sacrifice for us, and not of works. What do you do when someone
gives you a gift? You simply RECEIVE it. You don’t work for it, because then
it would be a REWARD. No, salvation as taught in the blessed King James
Bible is a FREE GIFT, NOT of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians
2:8, 9 KJB). All the other versions say salvation requires works. That, my
friend, is simply not true.
Unfortunately, people will buy these false bibles because they want their
way. They like something that doesn’t offend their conscience. They want
something that appeals to their sinful flesh. In fact, those who publish
these bibles are not only greedy of gain, their conscience is seared, that
is, not affected by lies or abandonment of truth. They only see dollar
signs, and not the signs of the times. They care nothing for souls plunging
into Hell by the minute, they just want to hear, CHA-CHING!!
For example, many bibles omit the blood. The trustworthy King James Bible
says that Jesus had to shed His blood to save sinners, because God is so
holy that He cannot allow sinful mankind into Heaven. Many folks don’t like
to hear about the blood, when in fact that very blood that was shed for you
on the cross and sprinkled up in Heaven on the Mercy Seat is the same blood
that can keep you out of Hell! No, people want to hear about, do, and
imitate anything but the truth. These false bibles only contribute more and
more to the problem, and nobody gets saved. The Devil really is a slick one.
Most of all, I have a problem with these versions because they are written
BY MEN. The King James Bible was written BY GOD, THROUGH MEN. There’s a huge
difference. The versions are copyrighted, meaning if you want to publish a
new version, it must be written differently from the previous one being
copied from. That’s what COPYRIGHT means, the RIGHT to keep your own COPY!
CHA-CHING!!
God’s Word in the KJB is NOT for sale. There will NEVER be a copyright on
the KJB, because God wants us to share it FREELY, and for FREE. God’s POWER,
BLESSING, and SALVATION rest ONLY in the blessed black-backed Book, the King
James Bible! ALL OTHERS ARE WORTHLESS!!
