Katy Perry is quite the conundrum. While she likes to pose in lingerie, like she did for her upcoming cover for Rolling Stone, she is also quite vocal about her religious upbringing. In fact, she's even tweeted about other pop stars using religion as part of their acts. And in the new issue of the music magazine, whose cover was shot by celeb photographer Mark Seliger, the Teenage Dream singer opens up about growing up with minister parents.
In fact, while she appreciates having fiancé Russell Brand in her life, she just can't bring herself to say she feels lucky. Why? “I wasn't ever able to say I was 'lucky' because my mother would rather us say that we were blessed, and she also didn't like that lucky sounded like Lucifer,” she told the magazine, which hits newsstands Friday. “Deviled eggs were called 'angelled' eggs. I wasn't allowed to eat Lucky Charms, but I think that was the sugar. I think my mom lied to me about that one.”
Perry, who has the word “Jesus” tattooed on her wrist, admits that her parents channeled God regularly. “Speaking in tongues is as normal to me as 'Pass the salt.' It's a secret, direct prayer language to God,” she explained, adding that her father is the one who can speak in tongues with her mother acting as translator. “That's their gift,” she said.
Perry is about to release the album Teenage Dream. She recently started debuting tracks from it, and the music video for its next single, “Teenage Dream,” was shot last month in California. On Sunday she will host the Teen Choice Awards alongside the guys from “Glee.”

Huh? Katy Hudson says she was forever saved when she heard a QUEEN album? Biblical salvation is by the Seed of God's Word (1st Peter 1:23); not by a queer album of homosexuals. Katy Hudson is NOT a Biblical Christian.
Katy Perry is a disgrace to her parents, Christianity, and America. Certainly, Katy Perry is not honoring her parents as the Bible commands, when she sings songs promoting lesbianism. Is this honoring to Jesus Christ? No, absolutely not! Homosexuality is an abomination to God (i.e., a disgusting sin). Kate Perry is a friend of the sinful world... "Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God." Katy Perry is God's enemy!
Perry states: “the heavens opened my eyes when I stumbled upon a Queen record and I was forever saved.” Queen is a well-known homosexual band, whose lead singer Freddie Mercury died at age 46 of AIDS contracted from one of his gay-lovers he frequented around the world. The “heavens” didn't open your eyes Miss Perry, Satan did... “Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience” (Ephesians 2:2). That spirit is Satan (2nd Corinthians 4:4).

lasciviousness (unhealthy sexual desire) by stripping naked, dancing

Millions of people's lives have been saved from Hell, changed for God, and blessed tremendously under Pastor Hyles' 55-years of ministry. America needs a handful of preachers like Dr. Jack Hyles, who uncompromisingly preached against sin . . .

It is sad that a young women can take her clothes off and become filthy rich, spectacularly popular and “become a star” for doing evil. The only reason why such wickedness can flourish in the United States is because we have forgotten God in our nation. Only 7% of the American people actually believe the Bible. We are getting what we deserve as a wicked nation. Woe unto America. We have been provoking the wrath of God for decades. Our nation's preoccupation with the cares, riches and pleasures of this life has caused most people not to care, to become indifferent, to become complacent, wallowing in our own mess as pigs in mud. Our nation is in trouble morally, economically, educationally, agriculturally, politically, spiritually, and in every other way. The republic has fallen! A nation without borders is no longer a nation! We're already the North American Union, it just hasn't been announced officially yet. This is part of the judgment we have brought upon ourselves by going along to get along for so long. Our day of reckoning as a nation is here!
I mean no unkindness toward anyone. I do not condemn Katy Hudson, for we are all guilty, hell-deserving sinners. Thank God for the Lord Jesus Christ. I didn't get saved while listening to a filthy Rock 'N' Roll record like Katy Hudson claims to have done. I was saved by the preaching of God's Word, and I obeyed. I acknowledged my sinnership and placed my trust in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, to forgive my sins. I don't know what Katy Hudson found; but it certainly was not Biblical Christianity. You don't get saved as Katy Hudson claims by listening to a Queen album. Something is VERY, VERY wrong with Katy Hudson's testimony. By her own testimony, she admits that she has never been saved.
Anna Nicole Smith lived her life in immorality, filth and wickedness; but she wore a cross on her neck oftentimes. I think for Katy Perry to have the name of Jesus tattooed on her body is sacrilegious, especially when she poses naked in her seductive lingerie for tens-of-millions of people to sexually lust upon. It is evil beyond description. Having the name above every other name tattooed on one's wrist does not please God; but rather, the hidden man (or women) of the heart as 1st Peter 3:4 says, “But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.” If Katy Hudson were a Christian who loved Jesus Christ, then she'd put her clothes back on and stop praising lesbianism in her music.
The Bible describes unbelievers like Katy Hudson in Philippians 3:18,19 ... “For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.” I pray for the salvation of Katy Hudson, that she'd listen to the Word of God instead of a QUEEN album, so that she may truly be born-again by the Holy Spirit of God (Romans 8:9).
