Beware Of Junk Theology

By David J. Stewart | August 2015

2nd Timothy 4:4 and Titus 1:14, “And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. ... Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.”

America's churches are filled with spiritual miscarriages (religious but unsaved), and babies (saved but immature), and retards (saved but theologically corrupt). Pastors are to blame mostly, for failing to preach as they ought against sin from the pulpit. Consequently, we've got a bunch of spiritual miscarriages, retards, hypocrites and babies running and ruining our churches today. It's a mess! I understand why decent people are leaving the churches at an alarming rate. The churches have become a big joke!!!

I have heard some really strange teachings from religious people over the years. My friend, don't attribute your wickedness to being God's will. I once heard a whorish young woman, who auditioned nine times to be a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader, say that she was praying and knew it was God's will for her to get the position. May I say, she is a fool. God's secret will NEVER violates His revealed will. The Holy Bible gives us a plain commandment in 1st Timothy 2:9 for women to dress in modest apparel. Most women don't care now, but they will be horrified on judgment day when held accountable by God almighty! Many of the sluts working for the Devil as Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders have also posed in Playboy magazine. Romans 3:18 tells us that the wicked world does not fear God, but the will... THEY WILL!

Here's another example of junk theology: I once heard a divorced religious woman (she filed) say that since only God gives jobs, and she cannot find one, God must not want her to have a job. Oh really? We'll, she was hired at a hotel to clean rooms, but she quit before even completing one week, because she said it was too demanding of her. It's called laziness! She refused to work at a clothing store, because she didn't want to handle immodest bikinis. She wouldn't handle cigarettes and beer at a grocery store. (I do agree with those later points - a good Christian should refuse to help others sin.) However, the woman just didn't want to work. When offered a job at a local restaurant, she said is was too fast pace for her. No job was to her liking. So she continually expected her relatives to support her instead. My point here is that this woman has junk theology. She attributes her lack of employment to God, when she clearly doesn't want a job. It might be because of our treasonous leaders in Washington DC, who've sold out the United States to Globalism and deindustrialization, that you cannot find a job; or you might just be lazy, but it's not God's will for anyone healthy and able-bodied not to have work to do.

I once heard a wicked woman (who filed for divorce), tell her husband that if she was doing anything wrong by filing, why was God blessing her so much? That woman is a fool. Some of the richest people in this world are also the most wicked. Prosperity has never been evidence of God's favor. Wicked Herod in the Bible was very wealthy, but John the Baptist was very poor. The most dishonest executives on Wall Street are the wealthiest, by stealing people's money and homes through fraud. Just because a church's attendance is increasing in size is not an indication of God's favor or blessing. The biggest so-called churches in America are also the most apostate. The truth is never popular with the majority. God is pleased by obedient faith, and nothing else. Beware of the junk theology which associates God's blessings with financial gain, health, prosperity and growth in size. You may obey God's Word and end up broke, alone, in prison and martyred like the apostle Paul. Only a fool associates godliness with gain.

I heard an assistant pastor make the excuse that their church has 17 bilingual groups, so they need to use the modern Satanic counterfeit Bible versions, which are allegedly easier to understand. That is junk theology. God never intended for man to simplify the Holy Bible so that unsaved and lazy people could understand it. It requires diligence, work, to rightly divide the Word of Truth. The Bible doesn't have to be hard to understand, but it requires a deliberate attempt to understand it. I'm tired of hearing religious people deny the pretribulation Rapture, when the Bible clearly teaches it if you understand Daniel's 70th week. When you correctly study the Bible, a prophetic picture is formed by using deductive reasoning. Jesus said that no man knows WHEN He is coming back, which can only mean that He is coming at the onset of the Tribulation period. If you understand that God dealt with Israel in the Old Testament, and He's dealing with the Church today, then it becomes clear from numerous Scripture passages that God will once again deal with Israel during the Tribulation, when the Church is removed from the earth.
