If you agree with Paul Washer that a
person cannot write down the date, time and place when they
became a born-again child of God, then you have believed ANOTHER
GOSPEL.

he criticizes the idea of a new believer writing the date, time
and place down in the back of their Bible.
You need to understand that Mr. Washer
is a follower of John Calvin (aka, Calvinism), which teaches the
heresy of the
Perseverance Of The Saints. That is, the false teaching
that a Christian believer will persevere in holy living, or else
they didn't really get saved. This is adding human effort

many people, “How do you know you're saved?” You'd be
surprised—especially in Latin America, because of the
evangelical preaching that's been there, and the evangelists
that come through there, and Europe and other places, and boast
about great numbers of people who are converted, and yet are
not. How many people answer that question, when I say—“Do you
know you have been saved?” They say, “Yes.” “Why?” “I made my
decision.”
Do you
realize they're looking unto a decision and the sincerity of
their heart in making that decision. That's their hope. Others
tell me, “I prayed that prayer; that's what has me full of
confidence that I'm onward to glory!” Paul said, “It's neither
circumcision nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.” Is there
evidence that you are a new creature? And one of the greatest
evidences is that you recognize your entire destiny is bound up
in the person and the work of the Son.

How Do I Know
If I'm Saved?
Clearly, Paul Washer does not
believe that a person can be saved by making a simple DECISION
to trust the Gospel. The Bible teaches that a man is saved the
moment he BELIEVES the Gospel (Mark 1:15), that is, the GOOD
NEWS of Christ's death on the cross for our sins, His
burial, and bodily resurrection three days later (1st
Corinthians 15:1-4). This is “THE GOSPEL.” Romans 3:19 says that
God's Law was given to silence every mouth from self-righteous boasting, so that the
whole world would become GUILTY BEFORE GOD!!!
Kindly, Ray Comfort told an unsaved woman on an airplane that to be saved
she must repent of her sins. When asked what it means to “repent,”
Ray heretically said (video):
“Repentance is saying 'God I'm sorry,' and then LIVING A LIFESTYLE that
proves the reality of your repentance. IT'S A CONTINUAL THING!'” Is “living a lifestyle” necessary for salvation? Is there “a continual
thing” that we have to keep doing to have our sins forgiven and obtain
eternal life? I thought it was all a gift from God. What saith the
Scripture? Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but
the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus
Christ our Lord.” Do we have to live a lifestyle of turning away from
sins to receive God's gift of eternal life? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! There is
nothing “continual” that a person must do to be or remain saved, anymore than you
would have to “continually” do something to receive a birthday gift and keep
it. If you
foolishly agree with Mr. Comfort that you must LIVE A LIFESTYLE of forsaking
sinful behavior to get to Heaven, then YOU ARE GOING STRAIGHT TO HELL when
you breath your last breath and your heart beats for the last time.
Ladies and gentlemen, these
deceivers are of the Devil. Anybody who teaches that you cannot
write down the date, time and place where and when you were
born-again into God's family, has been inspired by demons! The
new birth is immediate, instantaneous, irrevocable, permanent
and everlasting. Just as you were born in a moment's time into
the world physically, so also is the second spiritual birth by
the Holy Spirit. 1st Peter 1:23, “Being born again, not of
corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God,
which liveth and abideth for ever.” The Word of God (i.e.,
the Gospel) is the seed by which we are born anew from above, by
the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit of God. God's
righteousness is all sufficient to save! The very idea that a
man cannot be saved and know it, beyond any shadow of a doubt,
until he first proves himself by “LIVING
A LIFESTYLE” of repentance (that's an exact quote from Ray
Comfort) is satanic to the core, a total works-based plan of
salvation that cannot produce the new birth. These wicked false
prophets errantly view salvation as “A CONTINUAL THING” (that's
another exact quote from Ray Comfort) by these wicked men.
Paul Washer confirms his support of
this satanic heresy when he heretically says:
“Sir, the evidence that you truly
repented unto salvation on that day is that you're still
repenting today...”

How Do I Know
If I'm Saved?
I made the following chart to help you see the
difference between these two plans of salvation. A picture is
worth a thousand words...
Repentance is not
a turning away from sinful behavior to be saved. That is
human reformation. Repentance is a change of mind—a change of mind
from anything and everything that hinders a man from coming to
Christ by faith to be saved. We are saved by BELIEVING, not by
repenting; but if we didn't repent, neither would we believe.
Repentance is necessary for salvation, but it simply means “a
change of mind,” nothing more. Repentance facilitates faith. Thus, we repent TO believe;
we
don't repent AND believe. According to Acts 20:21, repentance is
“TOWARD GOD,” not from anything! Granted, you cannot turn TO
something without simultaneously turning FROM something, but
there is a vast difference between turning to Christ by faith
from your sins, versus turning away from sinful living as a
prerequisite to saving faith! The former is the free grace
Gospel, the latter is the damnable heresy of Lordship Salvation.
The former does not require a person to forsake deliberate
sinful ways to be saved, but the latter does!
The preceding difference may seem
subtle doctrinally, but the end result is the difference between
Heaven or Hell. The latter is the
heresy of
Calvinism, which is what Paul Washer foolishly teaches,
requiring you to walk a narrow path of holiness to prove you are
saved. In the former, which is true salvation, the Gospel,
called “the simplicity that is in Christ” (2nd
Corinthians 11:3-4), you simply admit that you are a guilty
sinner in the sight of God (Romans 3:19), and you wholly believe
the GOOD NEWS of Christ crucified, buried and risen to be saved
(1st Corinthians 15:1-4). All you need to do to be saved is to
BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ, because of what He did to pay
for your sins. In true salvation, God saves you and then the
Holy Spirit changes you!
The big problem with Calvinists
(e.g., John MacArthur, Ray Comfort, Paul Washer, John Piper,
R.C. Sproul) is that they place the burden of changing upon the
sinner's shoulder, instead of upon the indwelling Holy Spirit.
In other words, the goal of Calvinist preaching is to compel
professed Christians to live a certain way to prove that they
are saved (which is a false Gospel of works); but in the
true Gospel of free grace, the goal of preaching is to compel
professed Christians to live right because they are saved,
not to prove that they are saved. Put another way still,
doctrinally sound preachers separate DISCIPLESHIP from SONSHIP
(SALVATION); whereas Calvinist preachers merge the two,
confusing them, and sinfully require
DISCIPLESHIP for SALVATION!
Following Christ (discipleship) is NOT necessary, nor permitted,
for salvation! We are saved by God's imputed righteousness
(credit to us) through faith alone in Jesus Christ.
Philippians 3:9, “And be found
in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law,
but that which is through the faith of Christ,
the righteousness which is of God by faith.”
If you listen to Calvinist preachers, you will notice sadly
that they avoid any Scriptures having to do with
imputed
righteousness! Case in point is Ray Comfort's THE
EVIDENCE BIBLE, which does not mention the word “impute”
even once. The reason why is obvious, because Ray based his
commentary upon a corrupt version of the Holy Bible, using The
“AMPLIFIED VERSION” (AMP), which completely removes the
important doctrinal word “impute.” This is another example of
why I warn everybody to rip apart your modern Bible perversion
(so no one else will be poisoned by it), and then throw it into
your trash can, or burn it at your next barbeque! Romans
4:5-6, “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that
justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

You DON'T need good works to be saved (nor do you have to stop
bad works), eternal life is a free gift! A gift must be received
without merit, without obligation, without strings attached,
without holiness or intent to live a holy life!
In the
preceding video, Paul Washer
says that it is not enough to BELIEVE one time to be saved. He
says you must continue to BELIEVE your whole life. He also says
that it is not enough to repent one time; but rather, he says
you must continue repenting your whole life. This is why Paul
Washer teaches you cannot merely jot down your name, time and
date that you got saved. Mr. Washer is very wrong! Washer has
corrupted God's plan of salvation, turning it into a process
instead of an instantaneous new birth. The Bible plainly teaches
that eternal life is a “gift” (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9).
Romans 5:15 calls it a “free gift.” If, as Mr. Washer falsely
claims, a person is required by God to continue believing and
repenting the rest of their earthly life, to prove they are
saved, then no one can ever really claim eternal security. If
persevering in holy living is a requirement to KNOW that you are
saved, then works are required for salvation. It is that simple.
Paul Washer is a theological liar!
The very second that you place your trust (faith) in the Son of
God, Jesus, the Christ—Who died on the cross for our sins, was
buried, and miraculously resurrected three days later (seen by
several hundred eye-witnesses)—according to 1st Corinthians
15:1-6, YOU ARE BORN-AGAIN IMMEDIATELY AND PERMANENTLY. Once
saved, always saved! If saved, always saved! In Paul Washer's corrupt plan of salvation,
he warns that you should “be very afraid” if you are still
living a deliberate life of sinful behavior. That is not
Biblical. The way you choose to live your life, has nothing to
do with what you are trusting to get you into Heaven. If your
faith is in the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ, all the
sinful behavior in the world cannot keep you out of Heaven.
In Paul Washer's False
Gospel, You Cannot “KNOW” You Are Saved in a Moment
In his preaching, Mr. Washer often
expresses disdain for the practice of soul-winners having
converts write their name, time and date in their Bible. I
remember the place and some of the details, but not the date or
even year that I was saved. I think I was 13, or close to. I
didn't think back then about writing down the date. I wish I
had. So I am 100% in favor of soul-winners asking converts to
write down their name, date and time that they believed the
Gospel.
Why is Paul Washer against this
practice? It is because he is a Calvinist. A “Calvinist” is a
person who follows the theological beliefs of John Calvin
(1509-1564). Unfortunately, all
five major points of
Calvinism are heresy! Calvinists errantly believe that a
person cannot claim to “KNOW” they are saved, simply because
they profess faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ; but rather,
they must also persevere in obedient faith and continued
repentance from sins throughout their entire life. At best, such
a corrupted Gospel is caught between grace and works. In others
words, Washer says, you don't have to do works to be saved, but
if you don't have works, you're not saved. That's effectively
what he is teaching, and it is of the Devil.
In sharp contrast to Mr. Washer's
heresy, the Word of God PROMISES salvation TO THEM THAT BELIEVE.
The manner in which you decide to live does not affect your
salvation. I know that offends Calvinists, but it is the truth.
Eternal life is a gift. A gift is a take proposition, not a give
proposition.
Paul Washer's Mother Feels
Unsaved When She Sins Because of a False Gospel
Respectfully, Evangelist Paul Washer admits in
his sermon titled, “EXAMINE
YOURSELF,” that his own mother sometimes doubts her
salvation because of sin in her life. I felt sorry for her when
I heard that. What a heavy unnecessary burden to carry,
wondering if you're not saved because you're a sinner!
Why Men Go To Hell (MP3 sermon by Dr. Curtis Hutson, “Men are not lost because they
won't quit their sinning!”). I realize that a man's mother is dear
to him, and so I tread carefully on this matter. I respect Paul
Washer's right to his own opinion and I pray for him and his
family from time-to-time when I think of him, particularly for
his neck injury (which is similar to my own stenosis,
radiculopathy and displaced disks).
When I heard Paul Washer say that
his own mother felt unsaved because of her sins, I knew right
away why she felt that way—It is because of a wrong mindset
toward the Gospel. May I say, kindly, these are the consequences
of the heresy of Lordship Salvation.
When you indoctrinate people with heresy, teaching them that
holy living is required to validate, evidence and seal one's
salvation, then you cause them to live in a world of
uncertainty, fear and doubt. Everyone always has sin in
their life! No one can live above sin. Some men can live above
reproach, but no man can live above sinning. We all sin!
Everyone sins! Paul Washer admits that all men sin, but he
teaches that a true believer will repent of that sin and forsake
it, which is not necessarily true. God chastises and scourges
His children when they go into sin (Hebrews 12:6-8). Albeit,
this doesn't mean that every Christian forsakes sinful living
when God chastises them. Some believers would rather live in the
pig pen of sin, as evidenced by Samson, Lot, Demas and Solomon.
The Apostle Paul struggled with sin continually, and so does
every believer (Romans 7:14-25). Only a wicked hypocrite would
rejoice, spread gossip and condemn others when they sin (Matthew
7:1-5). Such wickedness defines America these days.
The Epistle of 1st John teaches
that the evidence of salvation is the indwelling Holy Spirit,
not an upright life. Many unsaved people live an upright, moral,
respectable, life. The test is not whether or not a believer
lives a holy life; but rather, is there a desire to please God
because of the indwelling Holy Spirit. 1st John 3:24, “And he
that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him.
And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the
Spirit which he hath given us.” As you just read,
we KNOW that we are saved by the presence of the indwelling Holy
Spirit. Our churches today are filled with people who live the
Christian life in all it's aspects, BUT THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN
BORN-AGAIN!!!
The reason why Paul Washer's mother
fears she may not be saved is because that's what she has been
errantly taught. Lordship Salvation places the burden of sin
upon the sinner's shoulder, instead of 100% upon Christ on the
cross. The heresy of Lordship Salvation demands behavioral
modification and continuous holy living, to verify that one is
saved. Paul Washer is a dangerous false teacher, because he
denies that a man can be born-again and KNOW immediately that he
is forever safe and secure in the Father's promises. According
to Mr. Washer, only the test of time can evidence whether a
person is saved or not. Washer berates anyone who dares to teach
that a new believer can instantaneously KNOW that they are
saved. Kindly, Paul is wrong. The Bible teaches that eternal
life is a gift, given by the PROMISE of God. Titus 1:2, “In
hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised
before the world began.” Paul Washer propagates fear,
uncertainty and religion; but not the true Gospel.
It is false doctrine to teach that
a person cannot KNOW THAT THEY ARE SAVED IMMEDIATELY. My friend,
you can and should write down the DATE, the TIME and the PLACE
that you received Christ as your personal Savior. Just as you
have a physical birthday, you also have a spiritual birthday if
you are saved. Paul Washer has turned God's simple plan of
salvation into a difficult religious process of reformation.
Paul Washer assured his mother that she is saved, because of the
fact that she
feels she is not saved. That is, he says her doubts evidence
that she is saved. What garbage theology!!! Folks, doubting your
salvation, when you sin, is not proof that you are saved. I
can't believe Paul Washer even said that! I know
that I am saved because the Bible PROMISES eternal life to those
who BELIEVE the Gospel. “I KNOW I AM SAVED” because I
believe God keeps His PROMISE to SAVE THEM THAT BELIEVE (1st
Corinthians 1:20). 1st Corinthians 1:21, “For after that
in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God,
it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to
save them that believe.”
My friend, Paul Washer is causing
people to worry, fear and doubt their salvation; whereas God
intended for men to KNOW they are saved by simple faith in the
Gospel. Please don't misunderstand me. Most religious people
today are not saved, because they have accepted a substitute
instead of the Gospel, but I don't want those lost sinners to
fear and worry about it... I WANT THEM TO GET SAVED AND THEN IT
WILL BE SETTLED FOR EVER!!! You don't need to fear, you're
either SAVED or LOST! Settle it! Believe the Gospel and it will
be settled!!! What Paul Washer is doing is scaring people to
doubt their salvation every time they allow sin in their life.
In fact,
Evangelist Paul Washer Teaches Watching Bad Stuff On TV May Be A
Sign You're Not Saved. Paul Washer's fearmongering is
totally unbiblical, because he is teaching a false plan of
salvation that requires works. If you're following Paul Washer's
teachings, then you ought to be afraid... VERY AFRAID! Paul
Washer is spiritually blind, and he is leading the blind into
the pit of Hell!
1st John 1:6 Speaks of
“Fellowship,” Not Getting Saved
In his video sermon, “EXAMINE
YOURSELF,” Paul Washer errantly teaches...
Look at
this, in verse 6—If we say that we have fellowship with Him (if
we say that are a Christian) and yet we walk, we lead a style of
life in the darkness—We lead a style of life that contradicts
the attributes and the nature of God, what God has told us about
Himself—Our style of life reflects nothing of God's
character—And our style of life totally contradicts what God has
said to be His will—Then we are a LIAR when we say we're a
Christian! We've got to understand this!

Examine Yourself
1st John 1:6, “If we say that we
have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do
not the truth.” This passage of Scripture is not talking
about salvation; but rather, fellowship (just as it says). The
subject is fellowship, not sonship. Judas
had fellowship with Jesus, but went straight to Hell when he
died. We get saved because we trust the Savior, not because we
fellowship with Him. Paul Washer is a dangerous spiritual
teacher, who says that a person is not saved if they continue in
a sinful deathstyle. If eternal life is genuinely a “free gift”
(Romans 5:15; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-10), then it cannot be
conditioned upon the manner of life that the recipient lives.
Any child can understand the concept of a gift; yet most
preachers today corrupt the Gospel by confusing Discipleship
with Salvation.
Paul Washer is not teaching the
regenerative new birth, which is a free gift. God's plan of
salvation for mankind is simple—Anyone who comes as a sinner to
the cross of Calvary—receiving Christ's sacrifice on the cross
as full-payment for their sins, believing that Jesus bodily
resurrected from the dead the third day—that person is a
born-again child of God! Paul Washer says this is not the way to
be saved. According to Washer, the life you live will determine
whether or not your repentance and belief were real or not.
Thus, Mr. Washer is ADDING human effort to the Gospel, requiring
a changed life and holy living in order to complete one's
salvation. You must understand that Washer views salvation as a
PROCESS instead of a NEW BIRTH. He'll lie and say that he
believes in the new birth, but then he totally contradicts
himself by saying that unless you continue believing and
repenting (which he errantly views as forsaking sinful
behavior), then you were never saved at all.
The Gospel is defined in 1st
Corinthians 15:1-4 as three things: 1) Christ's death on the
cross for our sins; 2) His burial which officiated His death; 3)
Christ's bodily resurrection from the dead after three days.
Mark 1:15 commands all men, “Repent ye, and believe the
Gospel.” This does NOT require turning away from
sinful habits, forsaking the world, surrendering to Christ's
Lordship, joining a church, getting water baptized, changing
your life, confessing Christ to men, et cetera. We are saved
simply by believing the Gospel. What Paul Washer is teaching is
satanism, leading the naive into the Lake of Fire. Please don't
be deceived by the Devil (Matthew 7:13-15; 2nd Corinthians
11:13-15).
Paul Washer's Calvinistic views are
not the free gift of eternal life. Since eternal life is based
upon God's faithfulness and not man's faithfulness, every
believer CAN KNOW—beyond any shadow of a doubt, without
reservation, without doubt, without uncertainty, without delay,
without having to prove them self over a lifetime—THAT THEY ARE
SAVED ETERNALLY, SECURELY AND PERMANENTLY!!!!!!!! Eternal life
is based upon God's PROMISE (Titus 1:2; John 3:16), and not upon
man's effort. It is typical of false prophets to speak with a
forked-tongue. In one breath they call eternal life a “gift,”
but in the next breath they say you must stop living in
deliberate sin to have it. That is impossible to do! (Romans
11:6). Salvation is either by GRACE or by WORKS, but it cannot

Evangelist Paul Washer is one of the most dangerous false
teachers behind America's pulpits! Beware of the Devil's lie of
Calvinism, which is not the Gospel of free grace!!! The true
Gospel only focuses on CHRIST, but a false gospel focuses on
YOU! Run away from any
corrupt preacher (or
bad Bible college like Bob Jones University) who teach that

in the King James Bible!!! The Bible says that all of our
righteousness is as “filthy rags” to God (Isaiah 64:6).
The truth is that no man has ever turned away from his sins

is preaching!
Look at this nightmarish garbage that Evangelist Rap Comfort
preaches! Folks, the Bible is abundantly clear that there is
only ONE GOSPEL (Galatians 1:6-9). 1st Corinthians 15:1-4
defines that Gospel of Christ's death on the cross for our sins,
His burial, and miraculous bodily resurrection three days later
for our justification (i.e., our faith in Him is not in vain).

don't care how rotten in character, sinful in behavior or
contemptible in reputation you may dear friend, if you're
resting in Christ's death on the cross for your sins, His burial
and physical resurrection as your only hope for Heaven, you are
100% WASHED of your sins and legally DECLARED RIGHTEOUS in God's
sight (Hebrews 4:10-11; 1st Corinthians 6:9-11; Romans 5:6-9).
Every believer falls IN GRACE, never FROM GRACE (Romans 5:20).

Believing the Gospel for Immediate Salvation
Here again Paul Washer berates “the
simplicity that is in Christ” (2nd Corinthians 11:3-4),
criticizing Easy-Believism. Washer likens Gospel tracts, praying
a Sinner's Prayer, and being born-again to a quick fix-it-all
FLU-SHOT...
I ask
people, “Are you saved?” They say, “Don't worry about me
preacher, I took care of that a long time ago.” You did what? “I
took care of that a long time ago!” Oh, something like getting a
flu-shot I suppose. “Yep, don't worry about me, I repented and I
believed.” Only to tell them—Sir, the evidence that you truly
repented unto salvation on that day is that you're still
repenting today; and the evidence that you truly believed unto
salvation on that day a long time ago, is you're still believing
today and growing in both these graces. It's not a flu-shot.
It's not something you get done! It's not something you take
care of!
How do you
know you're a new creature? Because you do the things new
creatures do!

Those are some frightening words
made by Paul Washer. He says getting saved is not something you
get done. Washer is wrong!!! Paul Washer says salvation is not
something that you take care of. He is oh so wrong!!! Do you see
how corrupt Mr. Washer is in his perverse theology? In Washer's
thinking, your entire life either validates or condemns your
profession of faith, so that no man can boldly say that he is
born-again and safe in Jesus Christ, until he has spent his life
proving himself that his faith is sincere, real and lasting.
This is works salvation, and not the gift of God. This is NOT
the imputed righteousness of God (Philippians 3:9). Genesis 15:6
tells us that Abram (Abraham) was justified by faith, so that
HIS FAITH WAS COUNTED FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS!!! This truth is
reiterated in our text verses from Romans 4:5-6.
Kindly, if Paul Washer's mother
believed that her salvation is safe and secure in God's PROMISE
to save them that believe (1st Corinthians 1:21), then she would
KNOW that no amount of sinfulness could ever jeopardize her
salvation. Nothing I could ever do, would cause God's salvation
to be lost in my life. I cannot lose my salvation, because it is
not mine to give or lose, it is God's. Even if I didn't want
eternal life, I still couldn't lose it, because I am a child of
God by faith. I was born-again at age 13. Once you are
spiritually born anew, you cannot be unborn. Salvation is of
God, not man (Jonah 2:9). If saved, always saved. Philippians
3:9, “And be found in him, not having mine own
righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through
the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.”
I do not hate Paul Washer, God
forbid. I pray for God to open his eyes to the truth of “THE
SIMPLICITY THAT IS IN CHRIST.” 2nd Corinthians 11:3-4, “But I
fear, lest by any means, as the serpent
beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be
corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For
if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not
preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not
received, or another gospel, which
ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.” There is
NOTHING “simple” about Paul's Washer's plan of salvation and the
heavy burdens that he lays upon men's shoulders. Mr. Washer is
teaching ANOTHER GOSPEL.
Jesus gives an invitation for those
who are tired, weary and burdened to come unto Him. Matthew
11:28-30, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of
me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest
unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
I thank God that my salvation is solely based upon completely
resting in the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Paul Washer's
plan of salvation is something very different, which requires a
life of turning away from sin and following Jesus as Lord. This
is exactly what
Seventh-day Adventist heretic Ellen G. White teaches. Sadly,
over half of America's Baptist churches are going straight to
Hell to burn in torment for ever and ever, because they are
trusting in
ANOTHER
GOSPEL.
If you agree with Paul Washer that
a person cannot write down the date, time and place when they
became a born-again child of God, then you have believed ANOTHER
GOSPEL. The very fact that Washer would teach something like
this evidences that he rejects the simplicity that is in
Christ for salvation. Washer rejects the idea of an
immediate, guaranteed, eternally secure, salvation. Evidently
Mr. Washer has never read in Acts 2:41 that 3,000 people got
saved in ONE DAY!!! Amen! Paul Washer condemns any preacher or
church who claims to have won hundreds (or thousands) of souls
to the Lord in a short time frame. Well, then you had better
criticize God Mr. Washer, because 3,000 people came to Jesus
Christ in one single day. Gotta love soul-winning!!!
In Paul Washer's way of thinking,
the manner in which you live must confirm your profession of
faith or else you're not saved. How can such thinking by Mr.
Washer be reconciled with our text verse from Romans 4:5 that A
MAN'S FAITH IS COUNTED FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS!!! Clearly, it cannot.
I feel sorry for Paul Washer and heretical wolves in the
sheep-pen like him, who are condemned of themselves and
hellbound in their sins, false religion, and another Gospel.
2nd Peter 3:16, “As also in all his epistles, speaking in them
of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood,
which they that are unlearned and unstable
wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own
destruction.” END
