I regularly listen to Power Of Prophecy
by Pastor Texe Marrs. I love Texe! I've been following his ministry now since
2002. I've learned so much from Dr. Marrs and have ordered dozens of his books
and DVDs over the years. One of my favorite books by Texe is the 424 page book
titled, “Conspiracy
World: A Truthteller's Compendium Of Eye-Opening Revelations and Forbidden
Knowledge.” The book is fascinating and a great gift for someone who loves
conspiratorial stuff. There are thousands of insightful facts you won't hear
elsewhere.
Albeit, I was disturbed today when I heard Power of Prophecy (episode #2415 from June 13, 2015) titled, “Lessons Of Purim-Queen Esther And The Holy Day Of Jewish Killing” (MP3). Dr. Marrs really says some strange teachings concerning the Old Testament book of Esther, literally calling Mordecai and Esther “monsters”! I have just listened twice to Alexander Scourby reading the complete book of Esther, and I've listened twice to Dr. Marrs' aforementioned Power of Prophecy program on Esther. I am going to Biblically refute many of the claims which Texe has made, because they are horrible untruths to say the least. Put your seat belt on my friend.
Dr. Marrs calls Esther, and I quote, “a murderous monster!” Texe says the Jews threw parties and rejoiced for killing over 500 of their enemies. He says Esther showed no mercy, consumed with hatred of the Gentiles. He makes Esther and the Jews look like murderous fiends, but that is not what the Bible teaches. In our text verse from Esther 9:22, we read that the Jews (after much sorrow for fear of their own genocide) rejoiced and feasted with joy, because they weren't going to be slaughtered after all. That's a very different scenario than what Dr. Marrs is teaching. The Bible says Esther and the Jews gave “GIFTS TO THE POOR.” That doesn't sound like a monster to me!
In his presentation, Dr. Marrs calls Christians “ignorant” who recognize Esther as a Biblical heroine. According to Texe, Esther is not a Biblical book, because it never once mentions “God.” He claims many of the early church fathers rejected the book of Esther. The writing of the book of Esther is approximately 465 to 331 BC (there are many opinions of the date). Texe calls Esther “a fiction novel.” Although it is true that the word “God” is not mentioned in Esther, we clearly see the omnipotent hand of God at work throughout all 10 chapters. I disagree with Texe that the book of Esther is fiction. There is absolutely no reason to doubt the authenticity of Esther. The heathen world of psuedo-scholars reject the literal account of creation in Genesis. They reject the story of Jonah being swallowed by a whale (the New Testament says “whale” in Matthew 12:40, not just a “great fish” as some claim). False scholars also reject the book of Revelation as being literal. So it doesn't surprise me that some would also claim that Esther is fiction. The Bible is under attack!
May I say, although God is not mentioned in Esther, He is mentioned indirectly in Esther. We read about fasting in the book of Esther. Fasting always accompanies prayer. What would be the purpose of fasting for three days, unless they were asking God to spare Esther from the wrath of the king? ...
Esther 4:16, “Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.”
The Jews fasted and prayed for God to deliver them from destruction, and to spare Esther from the king's wrath. Fasting would be totally useless if it weren't being done to plead a miracle from the Lord God. The entire book of Esther is a wonderful testimony of the awesome sovereignty and omnipotent power of God. The fact that God is not mentioned even once in Esther teaches us to trust the heart of God when you can't see the hand of God!
Texe Marrs says
that the book of Esther is a fable, but he says God included it in the Holy Bible
anyway, to
show us the true evil nature of the Jews and their evil future plot to hide their
identity, use immoral sex to get their way, steal the Gentile's wealth and
kill anyone who gets in their way! Although that is exactly what Khazarian
Zionist Jews are doing today in the world, that's not what Mordecai and Esther
did. Esther was forced into her situation beyond her own choice or control.
The same is true of her older cousin Mordecai. I do not believe the book of
Esther is an imposter. I think it really happened and is inspired by God.
There is debate over who the writer is, perhaps Mordecai himself, but we do
know that God is the Author. The 54 men who were involved in translating the
1611 authorized King James Bible accepted Esther as inspired. Haman was the
murderous monster, not Esther and Mordecai.
Mordecai And Esther Were Not Secretly Married, Nor Sexual Perverts
Dr. Marrs errantly portrays Mordecai and Esther (both Jews) as manipulators, schemers, adulterers, greedy, selfish, vindictive murderers and fiends. Nothing could be further from the truth. Texe says Mordecai and Esther conspired to take the throne, by having Esther use sexual promiscuity to entice king Ahasuerus. I listened to the book of Esther twice after listening to Texe for an hour, in shock from what he was saying about Mordecai and Esther, who were both faithful Christians as well as Jews. Mordecai had been taken into captivity by king Nebuchadnezzar into Babylon (Esther 2:5). Esther was only a young woman, and Mordecai like a father to her. She was beautiful the Bible says.
King Ahasuerus sought out the virgins of the land to find a wife, which Esther and Mordecai had no control over. They took Esther into the king's house of women. The king's servants weren't fools looking for whores and lewd women. The king would have executed his servants if they mistakenly brought a woman before him who was not a virgin. There is no question whatsoever that Esther was a bonafied virgin when she was given to king Ahasuerus. It is awful even to suggest that Mordecai and Esther were sex-partners and that Esther slept her way to the throne as queen, but that is exactly what Texe Marrs teaches. I do not believe that allegation for a second.
Texe asserts the untrue and malicious claim (which originates from the Satanic Jewish Talmud) that Mordechai and Esther were secretly married. That is simply not true. The Holy Bible plainly teaches that Esther was a virgin, and that as Mordecai's Uncle's daughter (cousin) he adopted her as a daughter. Clearly, Mordecai was much older than Esther. Texe is wrong to portray Mordecai and Esther as two shifty Jews who were up to no good, who saw an opportunity to take advantage of a drunken king and make themselves wealthy. Texe says Mordecai told Esther, “This is our chance” (to usurp the queen's throne).
It is common knowledge that hundreds of American Jews in positions of power, influence and media change their real Jewish name to hide their identity. They do this so that the public won't catch on that wealthy Jews control America. Dr. Marrs alleges this is the same reason why Mordecai told Esther to hide her Jewish identity. I disagree. In an attempt to downplay the need to hide their Jewish identity, Texe says in his presentation that “the Jews were not at all despised” and “they were not at all mistreated” and “they had gained great ground in the kingdom,” but the Bible says that the Jews were despised and hated in Esther 9:5, “Thus the Jews smote all their enemies with the stroke of the sword, and slaughter, and destruction, and did what they would unto those that hated them.” Clearly, the Jews were hated by many people, and had enemies in Medo-Persia. By the way, the Bible tells us that king Ahasuerus reigned over 127 provinces all the way from India to Ethiopia in Africa (Esther 1:1). That's a big area!!!
Esther was not secretly married to Mordecai. That is ridiculous slander from the degenerate Talmud. Esther was clearly was a young virgin, just as the Holy Bible says. The king didn't decide to have sex with a bunch of beautiful women and throw them out onto the street if he didn't like them; but rather, once he slept with each woman, she permanently became his possession, to live and be spoiled in the king's house for life, and one of them would be chosen above the others to be his reigning queen. Although it seems offensive to well-to-do American women today, it was considered a great honor and opportunity by most families in ancient times.
King Solomon
didn't have to look far to find all the wives he ever wanted, because several
thousand women were undoubtedly standing in line waiting to be his next wife
or concubine, so they could enjoy the good life from now on. Frankly, in my
opinion, those women sold their souls for security in exchange for a happy
marriage. With 700 wives and 300 concubines, each woman couldn't have had
marital relations with Solomon more than a dozen times in a lifetime at most.
If Solomon had sex every day, it would require 3-years to be with each wife
and concubine. And if that wasn't bad enough, we find the ole pervert trying
to seduce the Shulamite girl in the Song of Solomon (who spiritually pictures
the Devil trying to seduce the child of God away from Jesus Christ).
Esther Had An Excellent Spirit, and the King Loved Her
It is common practice for heathen kings to “test drive” a woman before marrying her (and then she remains his concubine permanently). I know that sounds terrible, but that is how the real world works. A wife has additional rights that a concubine does not have. Being a concubine is a lower social class. The Bible says Esther spent the whole night alone with the king, and I'm sure they didn't weave baskets. They had sexual relations. Esther 2:14, “In the evening she went, and on the morrow she returned into the second house of the women, to the custody of Shaashgaz, the king's chamberlain, which kept the concubines: she came in unto the king no more, except the king delighted in her, and that she were called by name.”
Also, notice in the preceding Scripture that Esther spent the previous year in the first house of the women (Esther 2:8-13), but after her night with the king she went to the second house of the women, where the CONCUBINES were kept. All of the virgins were strikingly beautiful, and they all had carnal knowledge (sex) with king Ahasuerus. The virgins (who were all deflowered by the king) were given their heart's desire in extravagant gifts, which they took into their new home with them. The king spoiled the young women with wealth, delicacies and pleasures. They now belonged to the king and were his property. They never had to work a day in their life again. It was a much sought after career, which is how king Solomon ended up with 700 wives and 300 concubines. Whoa!
Albeit, the Bible
says Esther didn't ask for anything more than what was appointed to her by the
king's chamberlain (an officer who maintains the king's house). This is a
completely different picture of Esther than than greedy, ruthless, whorish,
“murderous monster” that Texe Marrs has alleged. Esther 2:13 and 15, “Then
thus came every maiden unto the king; whatsoever she desired was given her to
go with her out of the house of the women unto the king's house. ... Now when
the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had
taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king,
she required nothing but what Hegai the king's chamberlain, the
keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the
sight of all them that looked upon her.” Esther had inner beauty that
money cannot buy. She was a Christian and loved the Lord. It was Esther's idea
to initiate a time of fasting and prayer for God to intercede, as she risked
her life by approaching king Ahasuerus to save her people alive, from
slaughter at the hands of Haman and the Jew's enemies.
Only God is to Be Bowed and Reverend, Not Jews or Angels
Dr. Marrs portrays Mordecai as an arrogant Jew, who thought he was too good to bow down to Haman. It was not a matter of Mordecai thinking he was better than Haman; but rather, the Jews were Biblically God's chosen people. Mordecai, when asked by the king's servants why he didn't bow before Haman as the king commanded, openly stated that he is a Jew. Esther 3:4, “Now it came to pass, when they spake daily unto him, and he hearkened not unto them, that they told Haman, to see whether Mordecai's matters would stand: for he had told them that he was a Jew.” That's not arrogance, but honoring the role of being one of God's people. You see, a Jew is required to obey the voice of God and His holy commandments. It's just like telling others that you are a born-again Christian when they ask you to share a beer with them at the local tavern.
We learn in Revelation that bowing down is considered worship. When the apostle John bowed before the angel, the angel rebuked him and said don't do it again!!! Revelation 22:8-9, “And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.” [emphasis added]. That is a very eye-opening truth. The Holy Bible associates bowing down with worship. Thus, Haman desired the worship of men. Haman wanted others to reverence him each time he rode by on his horse.
It used to mean something to be a Jew before Israel was cutoff in 586 BC (when Babylon overthrew Israel). Deuteronomy 20:1, “When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.” God's promise to be with the Jews was conditional upon their continued obedience and faith. Exodus 19:5-6, “Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.” Deuteronomy 28:15-68 lists horrifying curses from God upon the Jews if they fail to obey His commandments. MODERN ISRAEL IS CURSED BY GOD!!!
The modern nation of Israel is a fraud. less than 2.5% of the inhabitants of Israel profess Christianity today. Tel Aviv is now the gay Mecca of the planet, duped by The Huffington Post as a longtime “gay paradise” for homosexual tourists. It is against the law in Israel today to convert a Jew to Christianity. Only orthodox Judaizers are permitted to receive citizenship in Israel.
Zechariah 8:23, “Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.” Mordecai was knowledgeable about his Jewish heritage as one of God's people. God had been with Israel, even tolerating their harlotry with idols as He pleaded through the prophets for her return to Him, but Israel refused. So God divorced Israel (Jeremiah 3:8). Israel is the Biblical center of the world. The world has always known that Israel is God's holy and chosen nation (not present fake Illuminati-controlled Israel). Present-day Israel is a Satanic fraud, a massive hoax, a hellish nightmare, a counterfeit Israel that is awaiting their counterfeit messiah, the man of sin, the homosexual (Daniel 11:37) Antichrist. When the Antichrist commits the Abomination of Desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet (Daniel 9:27; 11:31; 12:11; Matthew 24:15), he will stand in the soon to be rebuilt Illuminati (Solomon's) temple in Jerusalem, claiming to be God (2nd Thessalonians 2:4).
Most Christians are woefully confused on the subject of Israel. Romans 11:28, “As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.” Some Bible students use Romans 11:28 to teach that present Christ-rejecting Jews should be loved, welcomed and supported as God's people1st Kings 11:12, “Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father's sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.”
Mordecai did the right thing by refusing to bow in reverence (worship) to wicked Haman, even though king Ahasuerus made it a law to bow to Haman. If the Bible forbids bowing in worship to angels, then we certainly ought not bow to worship any man.
Esther 3:2-5, “And all the king's servants, that were in the king's gate, bowed, and reverenced Haman: for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence. And when Haman saw that Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence, then was Haman full of wrath.”
The Ten Commandments from God forbids bowing to anyone or anything in reverence (i.e., to be in awe of, as a deity). ...
Exodus 20:3-5, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me.”
It is sinful for fans to worship rock stars and country singers as gods, sacrificing their souls and bodies sexually to the musicians and singers. Mordecai did the right thing by refusing to bow. Haman was just a sinful man, nothing special, no better than anyone else. I admire many preachers and men of character, but I do not reverence them. They are mere mortal men, imperfect and smelly on the inside (just like you and me). We're all made of the dust of the earth by God. We're all born dying.
I've seen people bow in certain cultures, like Japan, as a show of courtesy, and I think that is different. I've also seen musicians bow to the audience at the end of a musical performance. It all depends why the person is bowing. I would give a bow of courtesy to a Japanese person, but Hell will freeze over before I'll bow in deification of any man. It's like eating. I'll eat food presented to me, but not if it is being eaten in worship of a false god. Haman thought he was better than others, and he wanted everyone to bow down and reverence him in his new high position in the kingdom.
I don't like when ministers refer to each other as “reverend,” because only God is worthy of that title. The word “reverend” is mentioned once in the Holy Bible in Psalms 111:9, “He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.” Haman was so sinfully proud that when Mordecai repeatedly refused to show him reverence by bowing, he decided to have all the Jews murdered in retaliation (Esther 3:4-6). Haman was a psychopath murderer!
When Meshach, Shad-Rack and Abed-Nego refused to bow to Nebuchadnezzar's 90 x 9 foot image (i.e., obelisk, an erect male phallus), they were thrown into the fiery furnace turned up 7-times hotter. The Lord Jesus appeared in the fire with them and delivered them without even a hair on their body having been burned. We ought never bow in worship to any man, statue or false god. A cultural humble bow is acceptable, but never a reverent bow of worship. When Jacob met his brother Esau again, after 20 years of hard feelings because Jacob cheated Esau out of his birthright, Jacob bowed to the ground in humility 7-times (Genesis 33:3). Clearly, this was a bow of humility (please don't kill me) and not worship.
Texe faults Mordecai as being a Jew who thinks Jews are better than everyone else. Although that is true of some Jews, it is not right to stereotype the entire Jewish ethnicity as such. There are many humble and Christian Jews around the world today, but you won't find them in Israel. Clearly, Haman had serious issues, whose entire life fell apart and came to a deadly end, simply because Mordecai wouldn't worship to him. Think about that! What a big baby!!! Whah! All because Mordecai refused to bow to Haman, Haman's ten sons all ended up DEAD!!!
Haman was a big fool, blinded by his pride, and his big-mouthed wife Zeresh who suggested building the 75-foot-high-gallows that her husband and sons were hung upon (Esther 5:14; 9:25). Haman's wife and friends instigated him (but they didn't get hung). Beware of what advice you take from your family, friends and neighbors, because you will be the one who pays the price (not them). We see in this tragic story of Haman the power of sinful pride and the wide path of destruction it leaves. I'll bet Zeresh wouldn't have been so quick to see Mordecai hang on the 75-foot-high-gallows she suggested be built, if she had known that her ten sons would hang upon it along with her husband Haman. This is justice. Haman hated Mordecai, but wanted all the Jews dead. The same fate fell upon Haman's house instead. If you think that is unfair, you'd better read Matthew 7:1-2, because that is how God will judge all men in eternity. The way we treat others is how God is going to treat us. Those who show no mercy will be shown no mercy by God.
Hateful Haman Led a Satanic Plot to Destroy
All the Jews
Haman was a wicked man, who misappropriated taxpayer money in a conspiracy to murder innocent people. Whether it be Jews or babies, murder is wrong! Just as Haman used the government treasury in an attempt to murder the innocent, so also do wicked heathens use the taxes of U.S. citizens to murder tens-of-millions of children by abortion!!! ...
Esther 4:7, “And Mordecai told him of all that had happened unto him, and of the sum of the money that Haman had promised to pay to the king's treasuries for the Jews, to destroy them.”
Pastor Marrs demonizes Mordecai and Esther, alleging that as greedy Jews they went after Haman for his wealth, stealing his home and possessions. Albeit, the following Scripture clearly indicates that Mordecai and Esther were totally innocent and sincere in their motives and intentions. ...
Esther 4:14, “For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
Mordecai told Esther, maybe God brought you to this time and place for a specific purpose, that is, to save God's people alive from destruction...
Dr. Marrs calls Esther, and I quote, “a murderous monster!” That is terrible to say. The Holy Bible says Haman was a wicked man, but we never read anything bad about Mordecai or Esther. ...
Esther 7:6: “And Esther said, The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman. Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.”
Esther was not a
vindictive monster; but rather, when king Ahasuerus found out about Haman's
wicked plot to murder an innocent group of people, Ahasuerus executed JUSTICE
against the wicked. The king gave the Jews legal power to defend themselves,
to fight back to spare their own lives. The law of the Medes and the Persians
could not be changed once enacted. This was a standing policy in Medo-Persia.
Haman had already instituted a day to murder all the Jews. The king gave
Mordecai permission to write another law, to counter the first ungodly law
which Haman made, allowing the Jews to fight back to the death against anyone
who came after them. Over 500 of the Jew's enemies were killed. If you tried
to kill a Jew, the Jews killed you! That sounds fair to me!!!
Dr. Marrs Completely Ignores the Scriptures in Esther
Texe continually quotes garbage from the Jewish unholy book, The Talmud. The Talmud says that Esther called the king a “dog,” but then quickly repented of her words and called him a “lion” to appease his wrath. Texe says she called the king a “lion” when she wanted something from him. My friend, who cares what the Satanic Talmud says! We are never to interpret the Holy Scriptures in view of history, other books, religions, speculation, et cetera. The Holy Bible, God's inspired Words, STANDS ALONE!!! Texe is judging Esther and Mordecai based upon what the blasphemous Talmud teaches. That is wrong!
Texe portrays queen Esther as a hateful, unforgiving, monstrous woman. Texe says, “Esther said, 'I want them all dead!'” The truth is found in Esther 9:1-2. A law had been passed which permitted JEW KILLING DAY. The law could not be cancelled. So the king who had been duped by Haman (just like Daniel's enemies duped king Darius), allowed Mordecai to enact a law permitting, JEWS CAN FIGHT BACK AGAINST THEIR ENEMIES ON THAT DAY! ...
Esther 9:1-2, “Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when the king's commandment and his decree drew near to be put in execution, in the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped to have power over them, (though it was turned to the contrary, that the Jews had rule over them that hated them;) The Jews gathered themselves together in their cities throughout all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, to lay hand on such as sought their hurt: and no man could withstand them; for the fear of them fell upon all people.”
Texe says Esther ought to have been forgiving and let the Jew's enemies live to see another day. What Texe fails to address is the fact that a law, an unchangeable law, was already enacted by Haman which gave permission for anyone to murder all the Jews. The law could not be cancelled or changed. So the only solution was to give the Jews permission to fight back to the death, and they did, rightfully so. It was very wrong what Haman did, plotting to genocide the Jews. So Mordecai, Esther and the Jews only killed those who tried to kill them. Amen! That is VERY different than the horrible distorted picture that Dr. Marrs portrays of Mordecai and Esther being selfish sex-pervert, thugs, who conspired to murder Haman from the get-go, and increase the wealth of the Jews.
If Mordecai and Esther had let the matter go, the Jews would have all been annihilated. The Bible plainly tells us that it was a matter of preservation for the Jews and not tyranny against non-Jews. The enemies of God's people got what they brought upon themselves. ...
Esther 9:25, “But when Esther came before the king, he commanded by letters that his wicked device, which he devised against the Jews, should return upon his own head, and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows.”
Texe says Esther
and Mordecai said, “KILL 'EM ALL!!!” That claim is not found or substantiated
in the Word of God. Esther and Mordecai weren't vindictive killers. The truth
is that the Jews had many enemies, who sought their harm and extinction, but
God protected them from genocide.
Mordecai and the Jews Were Not Greedy of Gain
The Jews had pure intentions and were sincere, not taking the wealth of their enemies whom were defeated in battle. King Ahasuerus even gave 100% permission to the Jews to spoil their enemies and take their homes and possessions...
Esther 8:11, “Wherein the king granted the Jews which were in every city to gather themselves together, and to stand for their life, to destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all the power of the people and province that would assault them, both little ones and women, and to take the spoil of them for a prey.”
Yet, the Scriptures plainly tell us that neither Esther, nor Mordecai, nor the Jews took any spoil from their defeated enemies. ...
Esther 9:5, “Thus the Jews smote all their enemies with the stroke of the sword, and slaughter, and destruction, and did what they would unto those that hated them.”
Esther 8:11, “Wherein the king granted the Jews which were in every city to gather themselves together, and to stand for their life, to destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all the power of the people and province that would assault them, both little ones and women, and to take the spoil of them for a prey.”
Esther 9:10, “The ten sons of Haman the son of Hammedatha, the enemy of the Jews, slew they; but on the spoil laid they not their hand.”
Esther 9:15-16, “For the Jews that were in Shushan gathered themselves together on the fourteenth day also of the month Adar, and slew three hundred men at Shushan; but on the prey they laid not their hand. Esther did not
hurt innocent people. Esther was a great queen, and her cousin Mordecai was a
great man. Truly, there are many greedy people in the world, Jew and Gentile
alike, but there is nothing in the Holy Bible to indicate that this was the
Jew's motive in Esther. The fact of the matter is that the Jews did not take
any spoil from their prey. Texe says the Jews had others take the spoil for
them, but again, there is nothing in the Holy Scriptures to support nor
substantiate such a harsh claim.
Proof That Being a Jew is Not a Biological Matter
The following Bible verse is amazing, confirming that the promises of God in the Old Testament apply, not to biological Jews, but to those who obey the Gospel. ...
Esther 8:17, “And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them.”
How do you become a physical Jew if you weren't born a biological Jew? You cannot!!! There's an old saying, “If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!” The only logical interpretation of Esther 8:17 is that many of the Gentiles became Christians. Israel had been cutoff in 586 BC. It was now over 70 years later in Medo-Persia. We read in Romans 2:28-29, “For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.” Caleb, one of the 12 spies who spied out Canaan, was a Gentile; yet he was adopted into the Hebrew family as a Jew. The Bible teaches that Gentiles, and cutoff Jews alike, can be grafted back into God's olive tree of true Israel BY FAITH (Romans 11:23). Unbelieving Jews today have been CUTOFF, not part of true Israel anymore. Although I don't believe that the Church replaces Israel, it is clear from the very beginning of the Old Testament that God's promises to bless the Jews only applied to those who were OBEDIENT (Exodus 19:5-6).
Zionism is the false teaching that present-day Israel is the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. The truth is that present-day Israel was founded in 1948 by Marxist-Communist, Wall Street, Illuminati, Luciferian-worshipping, evildoers! Hosea 3:4-5 plainly teaches that God will restore Israel when the Jews fear God and turn toward their true Messiah, Jesus Christ. Hosea 3:5, “Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.” The Jews have not yet returned to the Lord, so modern Israel is a fraud.
I agree with Dr. Texe Marrs 100% that Zionism and present-day Israel are of the Devil. But I disagree that Esther and Mordecai were manipulative Jews seeking their own advancement at the expense of the Gentiles. Esther and Mordecai feared the Lord and were morally pure. There is no credible evidence to believe otherwise. Just as Texe Marrs makes disparaging comments about Pastor Jack Hyles at times, based upon unfounded rumors; so also does Texe make disparaging comments about Mordecai and Esther based upon unfounded rumors. The Talmud is not credible! I am basing my article on facts. The fact is that it was Haman and his accomplices who drew first blood, not the Jews. When Mordecai, the Jews and Esther found out about Haman's wicked plot to kill them all, the Jews fasted and prayed for God to intercede, as Esther made her humble appeal to king Ahasuerus. I don't see how Texe Marrs interprets these facts as Esther being “a murderous monstrous!” Really?
I have written this article in a spirit of contending for the faith (Jude 1:3), and it is not meant to be a negative reflection of Dr. Texe Marrs. Texe is awesome!!! I don't agree with Texe's Postribulation Rapture position, but it's ok to agree to disagree. I think the Bible plainly teaches a pretribulation Rapture of the saints, as only this position supports the Lord's admonition in Mark 13:32-37 that He could return at any time, unannounced, imminent, sudden and unpredictable. Jesus could come right now! And I disagree with Dr. Marrs on the book of Esther.
I love the book of Esther. It is ten of the best chapters in the Old Testament in my humble opinion. Esther was afraid for her life, as she prepared to make her appeal unto the king for the lives of her people. She said, “IF I PERISH, I PERISH!!!” What a great gal! Esther was a courageous woman after my own heart. I think Mordecai and Esther ought to be upheld as Christian heroes. END
