Isaiah 14:12-14, “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.”
Lucifer the archangel became filled with
sinful pride. He desired to exalt himself above “the stars of God.” The
Bible teaches that “The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches”
(Revelation 1:20b). SO I believe Lucifer wanted to exalt himself above
the angels. One-third of the angels rebelled with him (Revelation 12:4).
Nearly all of the modern corrupted Bible versions, like the Easy-To-Read
Version (ERV) and the New International Version (NIV) completely remove the
only mention of the name “Lucifer” from the Bible in Isaiah 14:14. It
shouldn't be surprising that the Devil would remove “Lucifer” from the
Bible. The Devil's greatest advantage is convincing men that he doesn't
really exist.
There is a common denominator in rebellion—whether it be authoritative-men-hating feminists, Jesus-loving-Christian haters, Bible-preaching-preacher haters, soulwinning-church haters, government-hating anarchists or rebellious teenagers—they all have a biased negative opinion of proper authority and scrutinize authority for every mistake and fault they can find. Nobody on Wikipedia cares if a Rock band's guitar player runs off in adultery and abandons his wife, but they maliciously attack a preacher based on unfounded allegations, proof not needed. This shows the evil hearts of the American public. I've read the most shocking crimes committed by Rock stars, the worst stuff imaginable, but the newsmedia leaves it alone. Everybody is out to crucify the preacher!!!
