The Devil is very sneaky, so subtle that he has even deceived many preachers
today concerning the Gospel. I have a book in front of me by Miss Ellen G. White
(1827-1915) titled: “The Great Hope.” Sadly, it has been published by Thomas
Nelson (the same company who publishes the Bible). Right doctrine matters folks!
Miss White teaches a counterfeit gospel of Lordship Salvation. She states on
pages 48-49:
The sanctification now gaining notice in the religious world carries a spirit of self-exaltation and a disregard for the law of God that identify it as foreign to the Bible. Those who teach it claim that sanctification happens instantly, and by this means, through “faith alone” they reach perfect holiness. “Only believe” they say, “and the blessing is yours.” No further effort is supposed to be required from the receiver. At the same time they deny the authority of God's law, claiming that they are released from any obligation to keep the commandments. But is it possible to be holy without coming into harmony with the principles that express God's nature and will?
The Word of God testifies against this traplike doctrine of faith without works. It is not faith that claims God's favor without complying with the conditions on which He grants mercy. Oh my, what ungodly heresy! According
to Ellen White's demonic teaching, a person cannot be saved by “faith
alone,” there must also be a turning from sin, she says, otherwise you have
not met the conditions of holiness which God demands to validate your faith!
That is of the Devil. You see friend, she is basing her false plan of
salvation on one's holiness. The inspired Holy Bible teaches something very
different. The Bible says our salvation is based upon GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS!
Philippians 3:9, “And be found in him, not having mine own
righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith
of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:” This Bible verse
exposes Ellen White as a liar, and the Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) religion
that idolizes her as a fraudulent false religion. Philippians 3:9 says we
are not saved by our OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS, WHICH IS OF THE LAW! Ellen White
says you must keep the law. She says obeying the law is the condition upon
which God grants mercy. Is that biblical? Absolutely not! The sole basis of
the believer's salvation is Christ's sacrifice on the cross, by which God's
righteousness is imputed to every believer by faith. Ellen White was a
religious fool, who is forever burning in the fires of Hell.
Evangelist Steve Pettit's Teaches The Same Garbage As Ellen G. White
Even more tragic is that Bob Jones University's new president since 2014, Dr. Steve Pettit, teaches the same crap theology. Read what he told 2,700 BJU students on January 26, 2020 in chapel:
“You can't just speak about getting saved, and you accepted Christ, and then that's it! There is a justification; There is a sanctification; There's ultimately a glorification, and though there are three parts, they are all part of the whole, and you cannot separate them. In order for you to qualify for the award, you have to get into the race, you have to stay in the race, and you have to finish the race. If you want to win, you have to run to the end; and winning in the Christian life is everything, because if you lose—if you don't finish—you lose everything—you lose your SOUL. And so, the Christian race is the life of faith that begins, is run, and is finished when we cross over into Heaven!” [emphasis added] —Dr. Steve Pettit (“What Does It Mean To Run 'The Race'?” - 11:34)
Do you see how they agree? They both teach that you can't just get born-again and that's it. They both say more is required, that you are OBLIGATED to live a life of obedience to God. This is the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation!!!
SDA legend Ellen G. White says true faith does not release men from the obligation of obedience to God; otherwise she says it is NOT faith. In other words, if you don't live the Christian life, and all the obligations it includes, you are not saved! She misinterprets James 2:17 to support her heresy that works are required to be saved. Steve Pettit and Ellen White are in doctrinal agreement. Folks, that is not regeneration! That is not the instantaneous new birth. Steve Petite has the same deadly mindset as John MacArthur. They view salvation as beginning with faith, but then it is a PROCESS that continues your whole life, and if you don't faithfully run that race, you don't get eternal life!!! I agree that salvation is more than being saved, in the sense that after we are salvaged (born-again), God begins to recycle us for a lifetime; however, eternal life itself is a free gift, which does not require faithfully living for Christ! The former is salvation (our POSITION in Christ), the latter is discipleship (our CONDITION in Christ).
So “faith” for salvation according to BOTH Ellen White and Steve Pettit is not simply trusting upon the Gospel to be saved; but also, salvation is a package deal that requires sanctification and glorification, and you cannot merely get saved and that's it! Folks, that is a works-based plan of salvation!!! Ellen G. White teaches that the Christian faith encompasses all of the obligations of living the Christian life. That is exactly what Steve Pettit teaches! ...

Ellen White says it is not really faith unless you comply
to obey God's commandments to keep the law. What saith the Scripture?
Romans 3:20, “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh
be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”
Clearly, Miss White is contradicting the Word of God. Romans 4:5b
says a man's “faith is counted for righteousness.” In fact, Bob
Jones University is directly inline with the demonic teachings of Ellen
G. White, by requiring their students “to
be willing to turn from your sins.” That is not the free gift of
God, which is eternal life. Romans 10:3-4, “For they being ignorant
of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own
righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness
of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one
that believeth.” Neither Ellen White, nor Steve Pettit, nor Bob
Jones University, teach for sinners to wholly submit to God's
righteousness through faith alone in Christ Jesus! Instead, they teach
the Satanic garbage that the pseudo-Christian cults teach; namely, that
your faith in Christ is not valid unless you have also turned away from
living in sin. I hope you see their gross errors in theology!
The Devil Is Taking Over Our Churches
This is so sad and tragic, to see this kind of Satanic
junk theology being taught at Bob Jones University today. My God, what
has happened to BJU? Ladies and gentlemen, this is what happens when you
dip your sails. Kindly, that is why I criticize the
First Baptist Church of Hammond (FBCH) so much for changing their
position on the inspiration of the King James Bible.
Since 2008 the church has denied the inspiration of the King James
Bible, falsely claiming that ONLY the “original autographs” were
inspired (which we don't have today). That was BJU's downfall! The next
thing you know, they start tolerating the Devil's modern Alexandrian
Bible revisions. John Wesley (1703-1791) was absolutely right: “What one
generation tolerates, the next generation will embrace!” Mark my words:
Hyles-Anderson College will go down the same apostate spiral as Bob
Jones University has! It is inevitable once change starts. Change itself
is the enemy!

FBCH has betrayed the Word of God by denying the inspiration of the King James Bible, which opens a Pandora's Box of ecumenical compromising, uncertainty and theological instability!!! And that ladies and gentlemen, is exactly how a liberal unsaved Calvinist came to be the new president of Bob Jones University!!! It all started with inviting the Devil's corruptible seed into their midst!!! Revelation 3:2, “Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.” Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born-again!!! Steve Pettit is teaching that you cannot just get saved and count yourself safe in Christ!
Listen carefully friend. Do you know how Ellen White came up with her heresy? She was an unsaved person trying to figure out the Holy Bible. That is why Steve Pettit is also wrong on the Gospel, because he is not a born-again Christian. Mr. Pettit does not understand grace. Neither is John MacArthur saved. I've already showed you what they heretically teach, clearly showing that none of them understand God's grace! Grace means that salvation is entirely of the Lord, based solely upon what Jesus did on the cross to pay for our sins. Hebrews 4:10-11, “For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.” The Bible says if you don't cease from your “OWN WORKS” (the same “DEAD WORKS” mentioned in Hebrews 6:1), then you don't get God's grace!!! You don't get saved by doing GOOD WORKS, nor do you get saved by turning away from BAD WORKS; you get saved by ceasing from ALL WORKS, and resting completely in what Jesus Christ did to pay for your sins on the cross!!!
Sadly, Harvest Baptist Church on Guam bids Godspeed to Steve Pettit and John MacArthur, which makes them partaker of their evil deeds (2nd John 1:11). I wonder what is wrong with professed Christians today. Zechariah 7:11, “But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.” Why do churches support blatant heretics, lies and falsehoods? - False teachers concerning salvation are everywhere nowadays.
- They are a bunch of Bible ignoramuses; churchgoers are lazy and don't want to study and search the Scriptures!
- They don't walk with God.
- The Devil's Bible revisions have secularized God's Word; removing, perverting and changing what it says.

Psalms 119:104 “Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.” Our Churches are being influenced extensively by today's dead Bible colleges. God pity us! I have nothing personal against Dr. Steve Pettit, and I love the folks at Harvest Baptist Church on Guam (who used to care about me before I told the THE TRUTH). That just shows that they never really cared about me at all, they are just religious phonies. Now they won't even talk to me! That is to their shame. The Bob Jones' group on Guam are arrogant. They think they are right in their lies of Lordship Salvation, turning from sins to be saved, and 19 different Bible revisions in their church.

“We run the race, we cross the finish line, and so what’s the prize? What is the award? Well, there are different viewpoints. Some would have the viewpoint that the awards are crowns in Heaven. But as I read the book of Hebrews and see the whole gist of the book and the flow of the book, I don’t believe its referring to crowns in Heaven. Heaven is not an “award,” it's a free gift (Romans 5:15-18; 6:23). Mr. Pettit continues his heresy...

But then let me say, that number three: This race HAS TO be faithfully run to the finish! You HAVE TO finish. Salvation is not just a past reality—“I GOT SAVED,” but is a future destiny! The race is not completed until you cross the finish line at death. That is a corrupt plan of salvation, which superficially professes the simplicity that is in Christ by faith alone, but then perverts the Gospel by requiring discipleship in order to be saved. You sure can say, “I GOT SAVED!” Buddy, I got saved at age 13 and it's a DONE DEAL!!! My name is written in Heaven in the Lamb's Book of Life. I've been sealed with the blessed indwelling Holy Spirit. I've got the Lord's promise of a home He's preparing for me in Heaven. I've got the Lord's promise of receiving a new body fashioned like unto His glorified body at the Rapture. Hallelujah! It's all a DONE DEAL LUCILLE!!!
What's this junk theology being taught at Bob Jones University today, which says you cannot say, “I GOT SAVED”? Go to Hell John MacArthur and take Steve Pettit, Sam Horn and Marty Herron with you! Ellen White is already waiting for you all in the fires and torments of Hell. Harvest Baptist Church on Guam is also coming to Hell, so you'll see them as well. NOBODY IS LAUGHING IN HELL!!! So just keep laughing at me Bob Jones' crowd on Guam. Just keep smirking and having your church get-togethers to mock me. God sees what you are doing!!! If I see it, do you think He has missed it? Not a chance!!! I have told you the truth Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, but you have done me evil. Your church has ostracized, ignored, shunned, taunted, teased, and hurt an innocent man, who befriended you with THE TRUTH of the true Gospel of free grace, and the pure inspired Word of God, and the truth about the Devil's corrupt Bibles, and the truth about the Devil's damnable heresy of Lordship Salvation, and the truth about false prophets (i.e., Martin Luther, Ravi Zacharias, John MacArthur, Steve Pettit, Steven Davies, Ken Ham and others). What
saith the Scripture? Romans 4:5-6, “But to him that worketh not, but
believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly,
his faith is counted for righteousness.
Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man,
unto whom God imputeth righteousness
without works,”
So we see that Ellen White and Steve
Pettit are religious bullies, picking on the little guy who lives by
“FAITH ALONE” in Christ! In their corrupt world of thinking, faith is
meaningless to save anyone unless a life of religious servitude follows.
As I just showed you, Ellen White says you cannot “Only believe” and
receive the blessing of attaining perfect holiness in harmony with God.
The Bible says, yes, you can! We are made instantaneously righteous, by
receiving Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for our sins (2nd
Corinthians 5:21). Our faith is credited for righteousness!
Like Steve Pettit, Ellen White takes the burden of our sins off of Christ on the cross, and instead places them upon the sinner, requiring that you reform of your sinful ways to attain God's righteousness. That is not faith, that is stinking religion! That is human reformation, not the regeneration (new birth) by the Holy Spirit. In Ellen White's and Steve Pettit's errant thinking, you change yourself to be in harmony with God to obtain salvation; but in Bible Christianity, God saves you by faith alone (it's a done deal), and then your life transforms as your mind is renewed with the Word of God (Romans 12:1; 1st Peter 2:2). Transformation should happen over time, but is not required for salvation, nor is it necessary to prove that one is saved. A Christian should live for Christ; not MUST (that is works); not WILL (that would be Calvinism). God doesn't need our help raising His children, so we need to leave the Gospel alone!
Dr. Pettit teaches salvation as a process instead of a new birth. We are saved in an instant by trusting Jesus as our Savior, but becoming Christlike takes a lifetime. Being conformed into the image of Christ is God's department, not ours! Changing is not mandatory to get to Heaven. Dr. Pettit is invading God's space, and invalidating God's grace, by adding running the race! Our part is to trust the blessed Savior. Whatever changes God wants to see happen in our life is His department alone. John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” I love you all!
