Where Will You Spend Eternity?

Revelation 20:14-15, “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

The Bible plainly speaks of the SECOND DEATH where all whose name is not recorded in the Lamb's Book of Life will suffer in fire for eternity.

Life is short, Hell is hot and eternity is a very long time dear friend. Have you been born again yet? I got born-again at age 13 in 1980, at an old-fashioned Baptist church on Chicago's Northside (a rarity). I count myself so blessed. I believe that God led that preacher to come to Chicago, because the dear Savior knew that I needed to hear the Gospel. There are tens of millions of people who attend churches their entire lifetime, without ever hearing a clear presentation of the Gospel.

The choice is yours alone to make dear reader What saith the Scripture? 2nd Timothy 2:13, “If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.” If you go to Hell in eternity, you will have no one to blame except yourself. God is faithful.

The Holy Bible clearly defines “THE GOSPEL” by which we are saved...

1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

When the Apostle Paul warns to keep in memory the Gospel that he is preaching, it simply means that a lot of people hear the Gospel, but it doesn't set in to their thinking. That is, some people still don't understand what they've heard. That is why Jesus said in Luke 8:18, “Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.” The Lord gave this warning in the context of The Parable Of The Sower And The Seeds. The first group heard the Word of God (which is the seed according to Luke 8:11), but they didn't get saved, because Satan hindered them. The second group for saved, began to grow, but because their roots were shallow, they quit when persecution came and never matured to bear any fruit. The same with the third group, they were saved but became choked by the cares, riches and wealth of this world. The fourth group got saved and then matured to become faithful soulwinners. Amen!

The Lord tells this parable and than cautions the disciples to be careful HOW YOU HEAR! That is very interesting. Why did Jesus say that? The Apostle James expressed the same truth another way in James 1:22, “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” The same seed (truth of God's Word) fell upon all groups of soil, but only the fourth group heard properly. The Bible tells us the reason why in Luke 8:15, “But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.” A lot of religious people don't have an honest heart. So instead of obeying THE TRUTH of the Gospel, they follow the traditions of heathen religious men instead. Jesus said to the unsaved religious Pharisees in Mark 7:9, “And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.” They heard the inspired Scriptures, but they didn't have an honest or good heart to keep it. They were only HEARERS as James said, but not DOERS!

Dear friend, if you want to spend eternity in Heaven with Jesus, the angels and the saints, then you must stop trusting in your Roman Catholic religion. You must cease from following the perverse teachings of Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, Church of Christ, Seventh-Day Adventism or John MacArthur's deadly Calvinist Lordship Salvation. Jonah 3:10, "And God saw THEIR WORKS, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not."

Titus 3:5, “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;”

The Bible in no uncertain terms says that God's free gift of eternal life is WITHOUT WORKS. The deadly mindset of the cults has crept into most Baptist churches nowadays, which has corrupted these churches so that they now are also CULTS! What saith the Scripture? ...

Romans 4:3-5, “For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”

The Bible verses that you just read are quoted from the Old Testament concerning Abram (whose name was later changed by God to Abraham)...

Genesis 15:6, “And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.”

People in the Old Testament, before and under the Mosaic Covenant, were ALL saved the same exact way that people get saved today thousands of years later, which is by grace through faith in Christ. Acts 10:42, “To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.” Abraham was saved by faith alone, without WORKS! Romans 4:4 plainly teaches that if salvation had been by works, then it would have been of DEBT and not by GRACE. Dear friend, God has never owed a debt of salvation to any wicked human being (and we are all wicked - Romans 3:19-23). Turning away from your sins and evil ways is WORKS according to God in Jonah 3:10. Turning away from your sinful bad habits and wicked ways to be saved is WORKS!!!
