Why Have
Preachers Stopped Preaching
About Hell, Fire And Everlasting Damnation?

Mark 9:43, “And if thy hand
offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life
maimed,
than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be
quenched.”
Why are preachers nowadays avoiding the subject of Hell? There are several reasons for this apostasy:
THE LOVE OF MONEY — Some horrible ministers stick to sugar-coated sermons that are guaranteed to bring in the money. Preaching on the topic of Hell, fire and everlasting damnation offends a lot of people, which may cause them to leave a church. God pity the pastor who is more concerned about financial security than he is about preaching the truth to help others. The reality of Hell is very important.
HELL IS AN UNCOMFORTABLE SUBJECT FOR MANY PEOPLE — Of the THOUSANDS of funerals that the average funeral director has attended, kindly ask some of them how often they've heard a minister at a funeral say that someone went to Hell. I doubt if any of them have ever heard even one preacher say such a thing! It is always, “They're in Heaven now with God!” What saith the Scripture? We we read Matthew 7:14, “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” MOST people go to Hell when they die! That is plain Bible teaching. We've got a bunch of liars in the pulpits today!
INCREASINGLY, MINISTERS DON'T BELIEVE HELL IS REAL — Apostasy is everywhere today! Apostate pastor Rob Bell created quite a scandal in the religious world in 2011 when he denied the existence of Hell. Thankfully, they drove him out of town! Only 4 in 10 Americans believe that Hell is where God sends all people who do not accept Christ as their Savior.[1] The reality of a literal burning Hell is a fundamental doctrine of the Christian faith. Netflix produced a blasphemous movie in 2018 called 'COME SUNDAY' about the apostasy of Bishop Carlton Pearson, who denies the existence of Hell and says everybody is going to Heaven.
MINISTERS WHO DON'T CARE — It is sad but true that most ministers approach the clergy as a mere career profession, instead of a divine calling from a holy soul-hungry God. We are told in 2nd Peter 3:9, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” The average pastor lives for his next paycheck, rather than for preaching THE TRUTH!
MINISTERS WHO ARE CAUGHT UP IN THE APOSTATE EMERGING CHURCH MOVEMENT — Rick Warren, Steven Furtick, J.D. Greear, Joel Osteen and other reprobates concerning the faith are key players in the Satanic Emerging Church Movement! The Devil is preparing the world to receive the coming Antichrist, called the “Man of Sin” in 2nd Thessalonians 2:3. It is shocking to see professed Christians in churches everywhere embracing the vile LGBTQ homosexual community in their unrepentant state. AMERICA'S CHURCHES HAVE GONE TO HELL IN A WHEELBARROW!!! You also need to understand that Satan is starting many counterfeit churches today, like the ungodly shameful 'Elevation Church' in North Carolina, where Steven Furtick is the ungodly pastor, that blasts the ungodly music of ungodly Justin Timberlake at their ungodly church services!!!
MINISTERS WHO ARE PART OF A SATANIC CULT LIKE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISM —Seventh Day Adventists and Jehovah's Witnesses, to name but a couple dangerous religious cults, deny the existence of a literal burning place called Hell. These groups are of the Devil. Anybody who denies or diminishes the reality and awfulness of Hell, and denies that Hell's purpose is to punish the wicked who die in their sins without Jesus Christ as their Savior, is of the Devil.
Though 61 percent of Americans believe Jesus is divine, 64 percent say God accepts worship from all religions, according to LifeWay Research’s survey on theology.[1] The Word of God says something very different. John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” The Holy Bible says you either go to Heaven through Jesus, or you don't go!
I wouldn't give you a red cent for any preacher who is soft on the subject of Hell. The average Baptist pastor doesn't preach on Hell once every two years nowadays! God help us!!! Preachers have become a sorry bunch in America. I am tired of going to churches, where the congregation all but worships the pastor, and the Lord appears to be secondary. Something is very wrong with that! A pastor who doesn't preach on Hell regularly is not right with God! When I attended Harvest Baptist Church on Guam from 2013 to 2014, not once did I ever hear any warning about Hell from the pulpit. Not once did I hear anything about Christ's Second Coming. The level of theological incompetence among clergy today is frightening in America's churches!
