Proverb 16:4-6, “The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished. By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.”
The Word of God says God hates pride and arrogance. Arrogance begins with
pride. Arrogance is in sharp contrast to being close to God.
Proverbs 8:13, “The fear of the LORD is to hate evil:
pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.”
The Hebrew word for “arrogancy” in our text verse is gaon, which
according to Strong's Concordance means: “majesty, pomp, pride,
proud, swelling.” I really don't like Strong's Concordance, because it is
often useless, as I just showed you. If arrogancy is the same as pride, then
why does the Bible mention them separately? Mr. Strong was a buddy of Brooke Westcott
and Fenton Hort (father's of the modern Bible corrupting movement), so his theology is highly questionable. I am not impressed with
Mr. Strong nor his often retarded theology.
I like to get my definitions from the Bible itself. While praying to the Lord, Hannah utters the following words to humanity in 1st Samuel 2:3, “Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.” There's our answer—PRIDE is a sinful condition of the heart; ARROGANCY is the manifestation of a proud heart. What is pride? What saith the Scripture? Proverb 3:7, “Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.” Ezekiel 28:17, “Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.” Pride is being wise in thine own eyes, and having a lifted up heart against God and truth.
I have spent the last 18 years in my online ministry (it is God's ministry) preaching THE TRUTH! Consequently, I have been wrongly kicked off a church board, compelled to leave other churches, banned, berated, mocked by pastors, and shunned for having a humble heart. Telling THE TRUTH is an act of humility! When you tell somebody the truth, who is in error in their thinking, and they refuse to take heed, they are proud in heart and arrogant. The pastors and controlling members of the shameful Harvest Baptist Church on Guam are proud and arrogant. Since 2014 I have been the best friend they have, telling them THE TRUTH. Evangelist Tom Ferrell preached at HBC, and said: “A friend helps a friend to see!” Harvest talks the talk, but they don't walk the walk. When I befriended their church with THE TRUTH, they drove me out and have counted me as their enemy since, banning me in writing from returning. God's curse is upon them!

By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.” Please don't miss that precious phrase, “BY MERCY AND TRUTH INIQUITY IS PURGED.” I have consulted numerous Bible commentaries on this phrase, and most Bible scholars interpret this as referring to God's imputed righteousness through the truth of the Gospel. However, I do not think that Solomon is referring to salvation.
I could be wrong in my interpretation of this passage, but I think communist North Korea is a good illustration. Millions of North Koreans are living in horrible bondage, enslaved to a monstrous wicked dictator, Kin Jong-un. Literally, the people are required to worship that nutcase. Only a couple thousand foreign tourists are permitted to visit their country each year, who are assigned a monitor, who never leaves their side. All western culture literature and media are illegal and banned from being brought into the country. This is done to keep THE TRUTH from the people, lest they realize they are captives to a madman. The people in North Korea literally don't know what they are missing, freedom and liberty, because they have never known anything but a life of ruthless oppression and hardship at the whims of a thug ruler. In the 1990's, millions of North Koreans died of starvation, and I remember hearing over shortwave radio that cannibalism was epidemic. People were eating their babies! If President Trump were to initiate a military campaign to liberate the North Korean people, it would be an act of MERCY and bring THE TRUTH to the North Korean people, for “BY MERCY AND TRUTH INIQUITY IS PURGED.”
Telling THE TRUTH is an act of mercy! Fighting to deliver those who are held captive is an act of mercy! When I told THE TRUTH at Harvest Baptist Church in 2014, God was having MERCY upon their church, but they were proud and arrogant, wanting me to leave. The proof of what I say is the fact they have BANNED ME from returning, and have not made peace with me over the past 6 years, despite my many righteous efforts. Jeremiah 5:31, “The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?” Harvest Baptist Church is enslaved to the Devil's corrupt modern Bible revisions, and enslaved to the Devil's lie of Calvinism (of whom Dr. John MacArthur is the modern godfather). I have been trying to deliver Harvest Baptist Church, speaking THE TRUTH in love, for “BY MERCY AND TRUTH INIQUITY IS PURGED.”
