A Christian SHOULD Live For Christ; But If He MUST, That Would Be Works; And If He WILL, That Is Calvinism!

Romans 4:4, “Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.”

       I love our text Bible verse—Romans 4:4, “Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.” That Scripture is very clear and simple—anyone who is trusting in works (human effort) is effectively saying that God is in debt TO GOOD MEN! My friend, God does not owe you or me anything! Romans 6:23a, “For the wages of sin is death...” Every human being DESERVES to be punished in the fires of Hell forever, because of our own sins, to pay WHAT WE OWE GOD! God doesn't owe you anything! People who try to earn their way to Heaven pervert the grace of God. If salvation is by works, then God is in debt to you!

Critics of a free grace Gospel call it “easy believism,” “greasy grace,” “1-2-3 follow me,” “cheap grace”; but getting saved immediately, safely and permanently is 100% Bible teaching! The ONLY type of life which God gives is “ETERNAL LIFE”! God does not give probationary life, nor temporary life, He only gives ETERNAL LIFE!!! John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” I find no difference in the Scripture between “eternal life” and “everlasting life,” they are used interchangeably.

I encourage you to study the preceding chart. Roman Catholics teach perversion #1, that salvation is by faith and works.

The Salvation Army teaches perversion #2, denying eternal security...

Salvation is not a “state” that can be entered into and out of, it is a NEW BIRTH (i.e., to be born anew, again, from above by the Holy Spirit of God). The Salvation Army denies eternal security, by saying that remaining in a state of salvation DEPENDS upon “continued obedience.” That is of the Devil, straight from Hell, and a very false Gospel. If saved, always saved! There are no strings attached, no requirements, no contractual obligations in the new birth. Once a person is spiritually born anew (i.e., born again), it is as irreversible as the first physical birth! Thus, I do not believe that people who follow the Salvation Army's teachings are saved! How can they be, since they are trying to live a life of CONTINUED OBEDIENCE to keep it? That is works! They are not wholly trusting Jesus Christ!

The Salvation Army 'Handbook on Doctrine' errantly says:

“Some truly converted people have fallen from grace, and the danger of doing so threatens every Christian” ([St. Albans, England: Campfield, 1969], p. 139).

Folks, the Salvation Army is pulling on the same rope as the Devil. The Bible teaches the eternal security of the believer! If saved, always saved!!!

Pastor John MacArthur teaches perversion #4 in the preceding doctrinally sound chart by Pastor Ron Shea. Sadly, Moody Church in Chicago is highly Calvinistic, which they readily admit. Moody Publishers publish Dr. John MacArthur's books!  Pastor Harry Ironside didn't have a Calvinist bone in his saintly body, who pastored Moody Church between 1930 to 1948. Perhaps Dr. Ironside died of a heart-attack in 1951, after receiving a divine glimpse of the future of Moody Church!!! Harry Ironside would have been greatly socked and ashamed of what Moody has become!!! Moody Radio is one of the largest Christian radio networks in the United States. Located in downtown Chicago, Moody Radio has 71 owned and operated stations and hundreds of affiliates and outlets that carry all or part of its programming. It is owned by the Moody Bible Institute. Folks, Calvinism is NOT the Gospel of free grace!!!

I am sick and tired of professed Christians making light of these drastic doctrinal differences in our churches and Bible colleges. Forgiveness of sins and eternal life are the free gift of God! A Christian SHOULD live for Christ; but if he MUST, that would be works; and if he WILL, that is Calvinism! The Holy Bible teaches THE PRESERVATION OF THE SAINTS (Ephesians 1:13), NOT THE PERSEVERANCE OF THE SAINTS (1st Corinthians 3:15)! Amen! Paul warned the Galatians that you don't begin with FAITH, but then become perfected with the FLESH (BY WORKS). Galatians 3:2-3, “This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?” It truly saddens me, and breaks my heart, that the Salvation Army, Moody Church, John MacArthur, Ray Comfort, Paul Washer, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary—all errantly teach the damnable heresy of Calvinism (aka, Lordship Salvation)!

If you think from a religious viewpoint, then Calvinism makes sense to the flesh; but if you study the inspired Word of God, realizing that LAW brings us to GRACE, then you can only conclude a free grace Gospel by faith alone.

Tragically, the new Satanic Bible versions are promoting Calvinism, by changing the meaning of what it means to repent. Most of the modern counterfeit Bible versions completely remove the world “impute,” and in so doing the meaning and concept of this important theological word is lost. Please use only the trustworthy King James Bible!!!!!!!

Evangelist Paul Washer is one of the most dangerous false teachers behind America's pulpits! Beware of the Devil's lie of Calvinism, which is not the Gospel of free grace!!! The true Gospel only focuses on CHRIST, but a false gospel focuses on YOU! Run away from any corrupt preacher (or bad Bible college like Bob Jones University) who teach that YOU must repent of YOUR sin to be saved. No such thing is taught in the King James Bible!!! The Bible says that all of our righteousness is as “filthy rags” to God (Isaiah 64:6). The truth is that no man has ever turned away from his sins (Ecclesiastes 7:20). Dear reader, you don't have to repent of your sinning to get to Heaven, you must be totally 100% perfect and sinless. Obviously that is IMPOSSIBLE, which even Christ said Himself (Matthew 19:25-26).

That is why God sent His only begotten Son into the world, to pay our debt of sin for us (2nd Corinthians 5:21). Hence, we are saved by “GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS,” through faith alone in Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:9; Romans 10:3-4). That is not what Paul Washer is preaching! Look at this nightmarish garbage that Evangelist Rap Comfort preaches! Folks, the Bible is abundantly clear that there is only ONE GOSPEL (Galatians 1:6-9). 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 defines that Gospel of Christ's death on the cross for our sins, His burial, and miraculous bodily resurrection three days later for our justification (i.e., our faith in Him is not in vain). What an awesome Savior!!!

I don't care how rotten in character, sinful in behavior or contemptible in reputation you may dear friend, if you're resting in Christ's death on the cross for your sins, His burial and physical resurrection as your only hope for Heaven, you are 100% WASHED of your sins and legally DECLARED RIGHTEOUS in God's sight (Hebrews 4:10-11; 1st Corinthians 6:9-11; Romans 5:6-9). Every believer falls IN GRACE, never FROM GRACE (Romans 5:20). The only one's who fall FROM GRACE are those self-righteous heretics like Marty Herron, Steve Pettit, Paul Washer, Sam Horn, Charles Phelps, John MacArthur, John Piper, Adrian Rodgers, Ray Comfort and other Calvinists who ADD works to faith (Galatians 5:4). Adding even the slightest thing to faith alone negates salvation and prevents the new birth. The Devil's greatest weapon has always been to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born-again.
 

Calvinism is Not the Gospel

So beware my friend, because Calvinism is not the Gospel. Calvinism is manmade religion, not salvation. Any plan of salvation which places the burden of sin upon the sinner is of the Devil. Jesus bore the full weight of our sins upon the cross, so that we wouldn't have to pay for them in the eternal Lake of Fire. The Bible teaches that we are saved by completely RESTING in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Hebrews 4:10-11, “For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.”

Adding even the tiniest amount of human effort to the simplicity that is in Christ corrupts salvation into dead works which cannot save. Religion cannot produce the new birth by the Holy Spirit of God. Our churches are filled with religious people, going through the motions, who have never submitted themselves unto God's righteousness. Romans 10:3-4, “For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.” This my friend speaks of the imputed righteousness of God through faith in Christ.

Philippians 3:9, “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.” I have HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS by faith, do you? Calvinism is self-righteousness by the law. The only way to be saved is to get out of the way, and to let God do the saving through faith in His only begotten Son. Either God does all of the saving or else you are not saved. God does not save those who are trying to be saved, He saves those who are trusting to be saved.
