Isaiah 45:9, “Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?”
I received a precious e-mail last night, from a man who said for many years
He was backslidden, and became tired of striving against his Creator. So he
finally came back to God and now has a wonderful testimony to share with
others, having found peace of mind in knowing that he is right with God. Oh
my friend, you don't know what you are missing if you're not saved and
living for the Lord. There is no high or pleasure that this sinful world can
offer, that can compare to the real, lasting and abundant joy and peace that
a born-again believer who is serving God possess.
I read this awesome quote yesterday and would like to share it with you now...
Christ's Redemption
Some time ago an evangelist traveling was singing to himself the song, ”I'm Redeemed.” A fellow passenger, hearing, joined him in the song. After singing, the evangelist put the question to the stranger, ”Have you been redeemed?” ”Yes, praise the Lord,” was the answer. ”May I ask how long ago?” ”Nearly 2,000 years ago.” The astonished evangelist echoed in surprise, ”2,000 years ago?” ”Yes, Sir,” said his fellow passenger, ”but I'm sorry to say it's not much more than a year that I have know it.” So many people for whom Christ died are still unaware that the great redemptive act of our Lord was for them. While He died in behalf of all men, He only died instead of those who by faith have claimed it for themselves.
Isn't that beautiful? Yes, it sure is! Jesus died on the cross to pay for the sins of ALL humanity. Before I was ever even conceived in my mother's womb, my gift of eternal life was already paid in full. But I had to willfully accept God's gift, through faith alone in the Gospel (Good News) that Christ DIED on the cross for my sins, He was BURIED, and then He wondrously bodily RESURRECTED from the dead after three days. WHAT A PRECIOUS SAVIOR!!!
I have lost 63 pounds so far, since earlier this year. I was 215 pounds, but today only weighed 152.0 pounds. Praise God! I've been walking around in the local shopping mall to help lose weight. I always have a smile on my face, because I have Jesus in my soul, and my name is written in Heaven, and I set my affection on things above. That is, I think about the blessed promises of God. But you cannot do that if you are not familiar with them! For this reason, I encourage all my web visitors to bath your daily life with the Word of God (only the King James Bible) and independent fundamental Baptist Bible-preaching. I love Baptist preachers!!! I mean Pastor Jack Hyles! I mean Pastor Danny Castle! I mean Pastor Steven Anderson! I mean Pastor Max D. Younce! When I listen to these dear men of God, my heart burns within my soul. Luke 24:32, “And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?”
There is no greater joy than having a melody in your soul, because you know that Jesus lives inside you (His Holy Spirit, Romans 8:9). I am happy all the time, because my dear Creator lives inside me (1st Corinthians 3:16-17). I do have my emotional moments, and if I do get upset, it only lasts for a couple hours, but then I counsel myself with Scriptural principles, and I always rebound with the unconditional love of God that permeates every believer who knows and walks with God. WHAT A PRECIOUS SAVIOR!!! The Lord Jesus Christ is my bestest and dearest Friend!!! The Lord is no respecter of persons, which is one thing that I love about Him. The Lord doesn't have a clique. He doesn't play favorites. He doesn't discriminate. He is just and fair to all mankind. If you obey the Lord, He calls you His “friend.” John 15:14, “Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.” That means ANYBODY can be Jesus' friend. ANYBODY!!! It doesn't matter what sins and blunders you've made in life, He will abundantly forgive, pardon and cleanse your sins away by His precious blood!!!
