I was just warned about a Baptist pastor on Guam, a small church down south,
who is teaching that FAITH IS NOT ENOUGH to be saved. I didn't hear the
sermon myself, or else I'd mention the name of the church, and expose them.
I was told by someone that visited the church, that their pastor says faith
is not all there is to salvation, more is required. If that be true, he is
not saved and needs to be exposed. Albeit, for the purpose of this article I
simply want to warn everybody that ANY pastor who says FAITH IS NOT ENOUGH
is a liar!
I was sitting in Harvest Baptist Church in 2014, and heard the senior pastor with my own two ears say (during the Sunday morning invitation), that it is “not enough to admit you are a sinner.” He said you must also “turn away from a lifestyle of sin”! That man is not saved! No one is saved who thinks more than faith is required to be saved!!! The only requirement is to know that you are a sinner, so you will see your need for God's grace (Galatians 3:24-26). That is LAW and GRACE! Churches that add turning from sins to the Gospel are hurting people with their false plan of salvation. You don't have to give up anything to be saved. That is why it is called a “free gift” (Romans 5:15b).
I will also expose the Family Baptist Church on Guam farther north. They are not the first church that I mentioned, but they are corrupt. They haven't had a pastor in over 10 years, and the two men who've hi-jacked the pulpit are not qualified to preach, because they are corrupt in their theology. I knew a woman who attended there for a long time. One Sunday she stood up to testify she had led three people to the Lord the previous week. One of the wannabe pastors said: “Well, we don't really know if they got saved, we'll have to watch their lives and see if they change!” That man is a fool and a liar. Even an unsaved person can “change,” so a changed life cannot be used as proof of salvation. In Acts 2:41 we read that 3,000 souls got saved on the Day of Pentecost, but there was no probationary period to “watch their lives” to see if they had changed. The miraculous new birth (regeneration by the Holy Spirit of God) happens immediately by faith, in a second of time. The second spiritual birth (being born-again) is just like the first physical birth (being born), that is, it is irreversible and permanent and we have no part in it. God does all the saving! Our only requirement is to “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house” (Acts 16:31).

I can almost guarantee you that those corrupt men leading the Family Baptist Church have been listening to fools like John MacArthur and Ray Comfort. Ray Comfort is a religious clown who ought not be allowed behind any church pulpit anywhere!!! By the way, check online and you'll see that Ray's “Pay Of The Master” religious business raked in $3,571,713 for 2018! Servant of God? I think not! Beware of Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron, who are false prophets! Beware of any pastor, Bible professor or preacher who says that faith alone is not enough to be saved! What saith the Scripture? ...
Galatians 3:24-26, “Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.”
Huh, there's no mention of works! With God, love
does not trump truth. I said, LOVE DOES NOT TRUMP TRUTH! Truth without love
is ineffective (1st Corinthians 13:1-3), but love without truth is useless
and unproductive (Mark 7:9). God's work is the most important work in the
world; therefore, it is not okay to exploit Christianity as a means of
making a living, while pulling on the same rope as the Devil by promoting
corruptible seed (modern Bible revisions), promoting the heresy of
Lordship Salvation, and promoting devils like Ray Comfort and
Ravi Zacharias.
How Can Faith Not Be of Works, if Faith Without Works is Dead?
A
Popular argument by hellbound Catholics and other reprobates concerning the
faith, is from the Epistle of James. Yet, why does the Bible say the exact
oppossite in the Epistle of Ephesians? ...
James 2:17, “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.”
Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
So which is it? Does faith require works to be valid? How can we be justified by faith, “NOT OF WORKS,” if faith without works is dead? Now there's a brainteaser for you! The answer is quite simple. It was the apostle Paul who said we are saved “through faith; and that not of yourselves” in Ephesians. Yet, it was the apostle James who said “faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” Paul is talking about being justified in the SIGHT OF GOD; whereas James is talking about being justified in the SIGHT OF MEN. Since man cannot see our heart, they can only judge us by our WORKS; but God can see our heart, and we are justified by faith alone with God. The truth is that even unsaved people can do good works, but have no faith. We are saved by grace through faith in the Gospel.
Dear reader, run away from any pastor who teaches that FAITH IS NOT ENOUGH to be saved, because FAITH IS ENOUGH!!! The Gospel of John is the Lord's Gospel tract. John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” In the Gospel of John we find the word “BELIEVE” mentioned 87 times, but there are no other requirements. I encourage my web visitors to avoid listening to internet and Tv preachers, and get into the Word of God. Jesus said to SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES! John 5:39-41, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. I receive not honour from men.”
