What if the Modern Bible Revisions Were All You Had?

Acts 8:37, “____V E R S E__M I S S I N G____” —New International Version (NIV)

I shudder to think that many young people today have never seen a King James Bible, and never will. Few churchgoers have a clue as to how dangerous the modern Bible revisions really are. They are not God's incorruptible words! The modern Bible revisions have been tampered with, intentionally corrupted by the Devil, to lead the world astray from the truth of God's Word.

Sadly, most preachers have also bought into the Devil's lie that we need an easier to read Bible version. The truth is that the new revisions may be easier to read, but they are IMPOSSIBLE to comprehend, because they have been changed drastically. For example: In John 3:16, Jesus is no longer the only “begotten” Son of God. In 1st Timothy 3:16, “God” is no longer manifest in the flesh of Jesus Christ. Now Christ is revealed in human form, or merely “he appeared in a body.” This is a nefarious attack against the deity of Jesus Christ.

Instead of a “virgin” conceiving a child in Isaiah 7:14, the Easy-To-Read Version (ERV) changes it to “The young woman is pregnant.” What wickedness!!! Even the NIV still retains the word “virgin.” But perhaps the most damning of corruptions is concerning repentance and the Gospel. The modern Bible revisions all change Romans 10:9 from confessing the Lord Jesus to saying “Jesus is Lord” to be saved. I hear sincere preachers trying to manipulate their doctrine to reconcile the drastic differences between the corrupt Alexandrian texts verses the reliable Antiochan (Textus Receptus) texts.

God only authored one Book. God promised to preserve (Psalms 12:6-7) His very “pure words” (Psalms 119:140) unto all generations. Today, there are two drastically different Greek sources from which all Bibles originate—the Textus Receptus (or Majority Text) from which our beloved King James Bible was translated); and the Sinaiticus and Vaticanus Alexandrian manuscripts (Minority Text) from which all corrupt modern Bible revisions have been translated. Literally, the Sinaiticus text was discovered IN A TRASH CAN by Constantine Tischendorf in the Greek Orthodox Monastery of St. Catherine, on the Sinai peninsula.[1] All of today's most popular Bible revisions came from a trash can!!!
