Elton John's Twisted Concept Of God

Albeit, I do expose those who publicly parade their sins for all to see, and try to homosexualize our culture through their music as Elton John does. This is very different than judging someone on a personal basis. As believers we are commanded by God to REFUTE all works of darkness (Ephesians 5:11), and to RISE UP against the evildoers (Psalm 94:16). Elton John has called Bible-preaching Christians, “hateful lemmings” and has stated that he will go to prison if necessary to defend gay rights.
We should never look under stones in a malicious attempt to discredit and destroy someone's name. However, it is quite a different matter when homosexuals try to legitimize immoral rights, and teach our children that it's ok to commit the sin of homosexuality. Freedom gives us the right to BE wrong, not to DO wrong!

We are certainly living in perilous times when we hear flaming homosexuals singing about trusting God. It is hypocritical that a child of the Devil, such as Elton John (real name: Reginald Kenneth Dwight), would even dare expect God to "lead us to a brighter day." This is the lie of Satan--that we can live in rebellion against God and be blessed at the same time. As Eve found out the hard way, it doesn't work that way!
The Old Testament Israelites learned this lesson as well ... "Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not; And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?" (Jeremiah 7:9-10).
The Israelites actually had the gall to justify their evil works by saying that it was God's will. Here's a recent article where Beyonce Knowles, a professed Christian, claimed that God has given her permission to dress sexy and strip. This is exactly what Jeremiah 7:9-10 is talking about. Elton John is doing the same thing when he sings about trusting God. Elton John doesn't profess to be a Christian, and that's exactly the point ... he sings about trusting God, and wanting God to "lead us to a better way"; BUT, he wouldn't touch the Bible with a 10-foot pole. Elton John chooses to live in godless abominable homosexuality, and at the same time wants God to lead him to a better way. Christianity doesn't work that way Mr. John. Why should God bless this Christ-rejecting rebellious world?
Mr. John sings ... "Dear God, in you we trust." Is that so? Romans Chapter 1 in no uncertain terms adamantly condemns homosexuality. Yet, Elton John is an openly professed homosexual, who supports organizations that promote the homosexual movement. How can such a wicked Christ-rejecting man claim to "trust" God? There is a big difference Mr. John between "failing" God and deliberately defying God decade after decade.
You have defied the Holy Word of God your entire life! The word "fail" implies that you at least tried; but, you have never tried. Thus, you haven't failed God, you have rejected God, "Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart" (Ephesians 4:18).
As you will read in the lyrics to the next song below, Elton John doesn't even know if there is a God; but he sings about God nevertheless. Here's the lyrics to Elton John's song, If There's A God In Heaven (What's He Waiting For?)...

Why blame God Mr. John for the greed and evil of mankind? It is evil men and women who have destroyed this world. Children aren't starving because of lack of food; but because of heartless greedy and selfish people who control the governments of this world. Our leaders speak of helping the poor; but the poor stay poor, and the help is extremely limited and short-term. God is not to blame for man's sin. We make our own decisions, living and dying by them.
"Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened." -Romans 1:21
Elton John maliciously attacks God by saying (from the above lyrics), "But it seems to me that he leads his lambs to the slaughter house and not the promised land." Elton John has his nerve. What right does a Christ-rejecting homosexual like Elton John have to accuse God of breaking His promises and being unjust? God never offered a Promised Land to godless heathens who spit on God's Word. Elton John is extremely ignorant of the Word of God.
The Jews who were delivered out of Egypt missed the Promised Land because they CHOSE not to enter. It was their own unbelief and rebellion that kept them out. Likewise, Elton John will burn in Hell when he dies because he has deliberately CHOSEN to reject Jesus Christ. Heaven is for sinners who trust upon the blood of Jesus Christ to forgive their sins ...
"Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ..." -1st Peter 1:18-19
Only a total fool would reject so great a salvation, freely available through Christ Jesus. You asked a question Reginald Kenneth Dwight. You asked the question, "If there's a God in Heaven, what's He waiting for?" The Word of God answers your question in 2nd Peter 3:9 ... "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." God is waiting for men to REPENT. It's not that God has forsaken mankind Mr. Dwight; but that you and the rest of the unbelieving world have forsaken God.

Elton John, Immoral Sex, and Satanism
Like so many artists who have sold their souls for rock and roll, Elton John has been immersed in Satanism. In fact, Bernie Taupin who has lived with Elton John and wrote most of his lyrics stated that Elton John’s “home is laden with trinkets and books relating to Satanism and witchcraft” (US, July 22, 1980, p. 42) Taupin like Elton John, with whom he collaborates, is also into Satanism. Taupin admits that he decorates his walls with “satanic art” and has further declared that, “the occult fascinates me” (People, June 23, 1980).
Many artists like Elton John and Bernie Taupin recognize
the devils hand in their success and realize that their fans do not have a
clue that much of their inspiration is the result of demonic beings that use
them as puppets to deceive the public. Elton John has admitted that he is
deceiving his fans, “Its all a big con,” and adds, “But as long as
the public laps it up, I’m quite happy to go on giving it to them.”

Like all those who rebel against a relationship with the Lord, Elton John lives a lifestyle that is doomed and headed toward destruction. John has stated, “In most artist there’s a self destructive streak. Drugs, sex and doomed liaisons were my form of destruction.” Besides his sexually perverse lifestyle Elton John has been known for his temper tantrums and deep depression. Elton John has had multiple sex partners, “I would walk into a club a see someone I hadn’t even met and I would already have them on the conveyor belt,” declared John, “They’d come out with a Vercase shirt and a Cartier watch at the other end.”
After all of John’s worldly success he
has not found the true happiness that can only be found through a
relationship with the Savior Jesus Christ. John has stated, “One thing
that depresses me is that there are so many successful people that are
[expletive) miserable with it.” Elton John has sought to fill the
depressed, Christless void in his heart to no avail with sexual perversion
and materialism. “I haven’t met anybody I’d like to settle down with—of
either sex,” says John. John’s sexually perverse influence on the
masses is taught by example, through songs as well as in interviews. He has
stated:
“There’s nothing wrong
with going to bed with someone of your own sex. I just think people should
be very free with sex…They should draw the line at goats.” (Rolling
Stone, October 7, 1976, p. 17)
Both bestiality and homosexuality are condemned in the word of God as unnatural ungodly. God’s word warns that Homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of God and that the sexually immoral will go to the lake of fire. (1 Cor. 6:9-10, Revelation 21:8) Elton John has sung about suicide, Lesbianism (All the Girls Love Alice), glorified prostitution (Sweet Painted Lady), sniffing glue (Bitch is Back) and encouraged teenage rebellion (Bennie and the Jets). John lives for pleasure, but as God’s word declares that those who live for pleasure will never be satisfied.
Elton John has struggled to fill the empty void in his soul with sex, drugs, fame and even food, “If I was eating a curry, I couldn’t wait to throw it up so that I could have the next one.” Elton John would regularly spend almost one hundred thousand dollars per shopping spree. He once spent nearly a million dollars in a single day of shopping. All of this has not filled the void in Elton John’s heart. So deep has been his depression that he has attempted suicide more than once. John once reportedly took 60 valiums and jumped into a hotel swimming pool, yelling, “I’m going to die!”
On yet another occasion
he turned on an oven and laid his head in the range but subsequently aborted
the suicide attempt. Elton John has gone so far as to influence his fans
with suicide through his music with lyrics like the following:

Being part of mankind,
Think I’ll by a forty-four
And give ‘em all a sunrise.
Yeah, think I’m gonna kill myself,
Cause a little suicide…
Elton John has led millions of people into further accepting Satan’s plan to confuse human sexuality and do away with the Judeo Christian ethic. While he has enjoyed much worldly success as a result of his Satanism he has been left a miserable shell of a person spiritually. John has sought to satisfy his empty heart with Satanism, sexual perversion, drugs, entertainment, fancy clothes, food binges and fame and has still not learned that the only thing that satisfies is not a thing at all but the person of the Lord Jesus Christ.
There is hope for the homosexual if he turns from his sin and is cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ (1 Cor. 6:9-11). Our hope and prayer is that Elton John would repent of his rebellion against God and His moral law and find salvation in Jesus Christ before it is too late.
Our hope is that those who have been enticed by his music would not only know the Lord but that they would seek out music that glorifies the Lord God and not many of the destructive themes found in Elton John’s music. If John’s music has not inspired him to live a spiritually whole life that glorifies God it is unlikely that it will inspire others to love the true and living God.
