Hugh Hefner's Tragic Life And Death

1st Corinthians 6:9-10, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

       I sincerely believe that the reason why God allowed such an ungodly reprobate as Hugh Hefner (1926-2017) to live a full and long life on earth, to age 91, as a testimony against him. God showed mercy to Mr. Hefner, by giving him an extra 20 years of the normal threescore and ten (70 years) to repent and believe the Gospel, but he refused. There is no evidence whatsoever that Hugh died in anything other than his mountain of sins! Hebrews 13:4, “Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.”

I remember growing up as a boy, seeing how massively popular Hugh Hefner and his Playboy magazine were back then. All of the 7-11 stores in Chicago sold Playboy (and other dirty magazines) which were covered in the rack (to prevent children from seeing the indecent cover). Today, Playboy has actually stopped publishing indecent images in their magazine, because they cannot compete with the internet. There are now over 3,000,000 porno websites! Hugh Hefner pioneered it all by starting the sexual revolution in 1953 when he published his first naked woman in his smutty magazine, which everybody and their dog subscribed to back then. That first woman was none other that the queen Jezebel whore of whores, Marilyn Monroe! What a disgrace to humanity!

Sadly, many apostate ministers subscribed to Playboy too! Jesse Jackson and Martin Luther King Jr. were Playboy subscribers, and both did Playboy interviews (Mr. King in 1965 and Mr. Jackson in 1969). Hugh Hefner was such an ungodly reprobate that he even mocked God by offering free Playboy subscriptions to ministers! Hell will be hot enough for Hugh Hefner, which is where he is suffering now and forever!!! For most people today, Hugh Hefner and Playboy mean nothing, but I still remember as a child the incredible negative spiritual impact that Playboy made on American society. You see, back then there was no internet. In the 1970's when I grew up, we never even heard about computers. There were no microwaves yet. Can you believe that? I remember shopping with my Mom and I used to pick Tv dinners (which only came in metal trays) and put them into the cart. We baked everything! There was no other way to cook back then! We just had a gas stove!

Also, there were no credit cards. We paid cash for everything, the way it should be by the way! There were no front-wheel drive cars back then, and during the winter everyone was stuck in the snow (because the weight of the engine was in the front of the car, so the back wheels spun on the ice and snow). Albeit, life was so much simpler back then (I loved it compared to today). But I remember how powerful the influence of Playboy was, because that was one of the ONLY places you could see a naked woman. Today, you can go to any beach in America and see graphic nudity and lewd behavior! The internet is Playboy times a million!!! We still had our innocent as a nation back then. It is because of the Playboy philosophy in America that women wear pants today, which seems modest when compared to Playboy. You ladies have no idea what your revealed thighs and buttocks does to a man's soul (1st Peter 2:11), and woe unto the woman who intentionally causes such evil lusts!

God only knows how many children grew up studying Hustler, Penthouse and Playboy magazines, memorizing every naked woman, seeing the naked men, seeing the shameful sex acts and lesbian filth, because their Christian PARENTS brought that garbage into their home. I promise you mom and dad, if you bring that junk into your home, that your children WILL FIND IT! They always do. Children are much more curious than cats! Today, the internet is deadly. Make sure you have family filters in place moms and dads, or your children WILL go find the evil things. As hard as it is to grasp, there is a Satanic group of people in this world who want to corrupt your children, to introduce them to a life of sexual immorality. And you Moms, please don't bring women's clothing catalogs into your home. I will tell you something, for a grown man who has seen all types of indecent images and naked woman, he doesn't think twice about looking through a women's attire catalog. And that goes for you corrupt women as well. But for a young boy who hasn't seen those horrible things, his soul is woefully tainted and corrupted when he sees women with only their panties on, and young girls in their underwear. That is where a sexually immoral life begins. So be careful, if you care at all about pleasing God with a holy life.

In a 2004 Chicago Sun-Times interview by Cathleen Falsani, Hugh Hefner stated ...

“Sin is a religious term for immoral behavior, but it's a religious term," Hefner says, adding that his definition of sin is "things that are hurtful to people” ... “I believe in the creation, and therefore I believe there has to be a creator of some kind, and that is my God. ... I do not believe in a biblical God, not in the sense that he doesn't exist, it's just that I know rationally that man created the Bible and that we invented our perception of what we do not know.”

Mr. Hefner openly states that he does NOT believe in the God of the Bible. Yet, he thinks he's “a pretty moral guy.” If morals do not come from the Word of God, then prey tell me, where do they come from? Who sets the benchmark? Since the Bible condemns pornography (Matthew 5:28), Hugh Hefner has decided that he doesn't believe the Bible. He says he believes in God, and creation; but not the God of the Bible Who condemns adultery and whore-mongering. Hebrews 13:4 WARNS, “Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.” Philippians 3:18-19, “For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.”

Ecclesiastes 7:15, “All things have I seen in the days of my vanity: there is a just man that perisheth in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongeth his life in his wickedness.”

When asked whether or not he had ever sinned, Hefner replied...

“Oh, sure, but I haven’t pursued very much immoral behavior. I’m a pretty moral guy. Now, it's morality as I perceive it. Morality is what is perceived as good for people.”

Every Man Did That Which Was Right in His Own Eyes

Hugh Hefner's life has been spent indulging in sinful sex orgies and fornication; yet, Hugh says, “I haven’t pursued very much immoral behavior.” Perhaps it's because of the immoral ministers and professed Christians like Faith Hill, who support Playboy magazine (who possessed lewd for Playboy), that Mr. Hefner doesn't see the wickedness of his morally reprehensible Playboy. As Christians, we are not supposed to condemn anyone, for the Bible condemns all humanity as being hell-deserving sinners; however, we are instructed in Ephesians 5:11 to take a Biblical stand against those who attempt to publicly justify and parade wickedness.

Hugh Hefner won't fully know the damages—the extent of his perverse adulterous images—until he is delivered from the depths of Hell to stand trial at The Great White Throne Of Judgment (Revelation 20:12-15). The evils which Hugh Hefner caused are still ongoing, even though he is gone, and his works do follow him...

Revelation 20:11-15, “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

Hugh Hefner must suffer in the fires of Hell for every corrupted child, who found one of his ungodly destructive Playboy magazines, and it contaminated his soul! Hugh Hefner has the blood on his hands from every ruined marriage (from millions of divorces that resulted because of adultery). Hugh Heffner must give account to a holy God, and be punished forever in the Lake of Fire, for the billions of lustful thoughts that he inspired through his demonic lewd images. I truly feel sorry for Mr. Hefner, yet I do not pity him, for he choose his own fate! God gave Mr. Hefner 91 years to repent of his unbelief and believe the Gospel, but he clearly refused. The only thing more tragic that Hugh Hefner's adulterous life was dying the death of a wicked man. Ezekiel 33:11, “Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?”

Mr. Hefner choose a sinful life, which hindered him from coming to the light of the truth of the Gospel to be saved. John 3:20, “For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.” Will you also go to Hell? You don't have to! It is ironic, you don't have to forsake your sinful ways to be saved, but the Bible says that your sinful ways will keep you from coming to Christ to be saved. So it's a catch 22 situation. God knew what He was doing when he made the plan of salvation for sinful men. This is why the whole idea of “turning from sinful ways” to be saved is utter nonsense (and a false Gospel). Those who love their sins WON'T come to Christ. That is what repentance is—not a turning away from sinful ways—but a realization and admission of one's guilty condition in the sight of a holy God, which facilitates believing the Gospel to be saved.

It is too late for Hugh Hefner to be saved, but it is not too late for YOU dear reader! Simply BELIEVE THE GOSPEL and know that your name is written in the Lamb's Book Of Life in Heaven, and that you have eternal life. John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”
