The word “preach” is mentioned in the New Testament 134 times, and the word
“preaching” 26 times. But the word “music” is mentioned just once, when the
elder son heard music being played for his prodigal brother who had
returned home (Luke 15:25). There is also one mention of the word “musicians”
in Revelation 18:22, foretelling of the hour of judgment upon the great city
Babylon (which I believe is the United States in prophecy).
Clearly, the preaching of the Holy Bible is infinitely more important than a church having a great music program. In our text verse, Paul told Timothy to “give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine,” but he didn't say anything about having a first-class music program, choir or singing club.
Occultists such as Helena Blavatsky and Alice Bailey revealed that their plot was to substitute spirituality in place of theology in the churches. This is happening to the same degree that music is taking precedence in our churches over doctrinally sound teaching, hard Bible-preaching against wickedness, and the true presentation of the Gospel (not that Lordship Salvation garbage). Music is king these days, but preaching has become a pauper in America's pulpits. The Devil corrupts churches by using numerous tactics.
One of these tactics is called “bait-and-switch.” But Satan does it over time. Satan introduces allegedly “new” and “improved” or “easier to understand” Bible versions in the churches, to be used alongside the trustworthy King James Bible, but then over time the younger generation decides not to use the King James Bible anymore, leaving them with only a corrupted version that has changed the Word of God into a lie.
Also, I wouldn't give you a dime for Baptist churches who use a parallel Bible (two-in-one) or more than one Bible. Cannot their pastors discern truth from lies? Did God really author 300 English Bibles? Is God's Word so hard to understand, that anyone who doesn't understanding it has a right to publish ANOTHER version? How do you justify this travesty of justice? How can woefully apostate pastors justify the continual butchering, tampering, and changing of God's truth into a lie??? Romans 1:25, “Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.” Satan is the author of confusion, not God (1st Corinthians 14:33). The churches are being led into the New World Order.
Satan failed to achieve World Government at the city and tower of Babel in Genesis 11, but he will succeed through the destruction of America, and uprising of a New World Order through the Illuminati's exploitation of the United States. This is why Israel is identified as the “woman” (whore) who rides the Beast in Revelation 17:4-5,18 (see verse 18). Anyone who knows the truth, realizes that The Illuminati also controls the United States today. If such truth makes you chuckle in your woeful ignorance, flip over any U.S. one-dollar bill and see the occult symbols mocking your ignorance and as their slave.
Yet, sadly and tragically, churches are increasingly becoming fun centers instead of a place of Bible preaching. Churches are becoming places of entertainment instead of being a bonafied New Testament church. I've even heard an Independent Baptist pastor brag of having a music program second to none, but tell new church members that they could find better preaching elsewhere if that's what they were looking for. That is so sad! I am not trying to be unkind to anyone if this shoe fits your church, but the need for sound doctrine has never been greater.
There are apostate Baptist churches all across the world who think they are doctrinally sound, who use and promote Dr. John MacArthur's Satanic teachings. Mr. MacArthur makes millions-of-dollars each year teaching: that Jesus' blood is not on the Mercy Seat in Heaven, that there's no such thing as a childhood conversion, that salvation is not easy because it requires a person to give up everything to be saved, that Jesus didn't die for all humanity, et cetera. MacArthur is a 5-point Calvinist. Check out Paul Washer's garbage theology, another Calvinist! If your pastor(s) support these ungodly men, get out, and find a genuine New Testament church. You see, in MacArthur's Calvinistic view, Discipleship and Salvation are inseparable, and you cannot have one without the other. That may sound very appealing to the devoutly religious and sanctimoniously pious mind, but it goes 100% against the plain teachings of the Scripture that a man's faith is counted for righteousness in Romans 4:3-8. “For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.” This is the vital Biblical doctrine of the Imputed Righteousness of God.
And don't you dare claim that your church believes in God's imputed
righteousness if your pastor teaches that it's not enough to admit you are a
sinner, but also, you must turn away from sinful behavior to be saved. That is
Works Salvation, which is really DAMNATION!!! Is anybody listening?
Churches Need Regular Revivals To Get Us Out Of Our 'Comfort Zones'
The problem is that Christian leaders (clergy) are settled in their “COMFORT ZONES.” We've all been there. Everyone finds a place spiritually where they feel “comfortable,” and then they dig-in for the long haul.
That's why every church needs to invite rip-hollering, Spirit-filled, tell-it-like-it-is, uncompromising, evangelists, like Dr. Phil Kidd for regular revivals a few times a year, to overturn the pews so-to-speak, shake-up-the-body-of-Christ, bring-down-the-house! I love what Evangelist Phil Kidd said, “The pastor's job is to comfort the afflicted; but the evangelist's job is to afflict the comforted!” Amen to that! I'm not against music, God forbid. I love music, and by God's grace am a musician at home. I couldn't imagine life without music. But I know in my soul as a learned believer that music can only inspire and elevate the emotions, but it's a dead-end by itself. Today's younger generation of religious evangelicals are caught-up into the Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) craze, which is as lame and apostate as can be. We all need Bible-preaching!
You can listen to religious music 365 days a year, but it will not change your life for God! How can it, so devoid of truth? You need the undiluted Words of God. It is the Scriptures that are quick and powerful (Hebrews 4:12), and not your favorite religious band or singer. All you're doing is making them rich! Hardly anyone listens to sermons, which is a great loss. Bible-preaching will change your life! I like music as a background, but rarely by itself, because I cannot learn anything listening to music. Music can catapult your emotions into the stratosphere, but when tragedy, death and afflictions come your way, nothing but the Word of God will suffice.

People who decide to make a commitment to live for Jesus to be saved, are not saved. That's not the Gospel message. Nor are those people saved, who turn-over-a-new-leaf to be saved, because reformation (a changed life) is not the Gospel. You get saved by realizing that you are a guilty sinners in the eyes of a holy God, because you have broken His commandments in the Holy Bible. And then as a condemned sinner under God's Law, you turn by faith to the Lord Jesus Christ, believing that He died on the cross of Calvary for your sins, and He was buried, and miraculously by the power of God Jesus bodily resurrected from the dead after the third day. That's the Good News of the Gospel, and if you believe it personally, YOU'RE SAVED!!!
Nothing else is required of you for salvation. You don't need to change your lifestyle, forsake the world, amend your ways, commit your life to serve God, follow Jesus or confess Christ before men. These things all have their proper place in the Christian life; BUT NOT FOR SALVATION TO GET TO HEAVEN. That's a free gift!!! And a gift needs merely to be taken!

Because pastors no longer preach hard, scathing and standing uncompromisingly against sin, acceptance of homosexuality is creeping into the churches. John Wesley was right when he said, “What one generation tolerates, the next generation will embrace.” I'm not saying that a pastor should be a madman in the pulpit, but shame on the pastor who is afraid to mention sin by name because it might offend somebody. Truly the Lord knew what He was talking about when He said that NO MAN can serve God and mammon.
America's churches have tolerated homosexuality, listening to their songs on religious radio, watching their acting roles on television, and now 20,562 Presbyterian ministers in 10,083 churches have accepted same-sex marriage since March of 2015. We are living in the horrible times as foretold in 2nd Timothy 4:3, when
people will REFUSE to tolerate sound doctrine (the truth). Women today don't
want to hear pastors preach against women wearing pants, but it is a SIN.
There's an Independent Baptist church a few blocks away from me, with a few
hundred members, whose women (staff) dress shamefully in tight spandex
outfits, hip-huggers and blue-jean pants. I'm talking skin-tight! These are
church staff members and pastor's wives!!! All tights are sexy if the woman is
sexy!
Yes, ladies, you need to hide your beauty, and show it ONLY to your husband. A woman who enjoys showing her beauty to other men and women is vain, selfish, not right with God, and headed for a downfall morally. I'm not talking about dressing up classy or nicely to showcase dresses and modesty. I'm talking about the whores who enjoy teasing the men and playing jealousy games with other women, eyeing their husbands. You hussies need hard Bible-preaching!!! You'll never get it it most wimpy churches today.
You women (you're certainly not ladies) who carelessly dress immodestly are making it difficult for men to live right. God pity that wicked woman who walks around publickly in leggings and tights!!! Your neighbours are always watching you, AND SO IS GOD!!! Perhaps you're an ungodly woman and you enjoy doing that to men, but you'll wish you had never wore pants or dressed in immodest attire when God finishes with you on judgment day, I assure you. In the year 1900 you couldn't find a woman in public in the United States wearing pants. Only in the brothels where illicit women of the night worked could you find such immodesty.
Do you think it mere coincidence that women started wearing pants in the 1950's, which is the same time that Hugh Hefner published his first dirty Playboy magazine in 1955? The ungodly Playboy philosophy and immodesty on women, quickly led to the hippie-style commune shacking up and free-love without a marriage commitment of the 1960's. The drugs LSD and marijuana were everywhere! All this irresponsible immoral sex consequently led to millions of unplanned and unwanted pregnancies, which led to the abortion industry starting in 1973.
So now, to compound the problem, cocaine and heroine are brought into America in massive amounts. Hundreds of Satanic, drug-addict, Rock bands like The Who, Van Halen, Styx, Foreigner and Black Sabbath take the scene to demoralize our youth, leading them into rebellion, premarital sex and substance abuse. And the progressive of evil only continues to worsen, descending into homosexuality and pedophilia. The end of the trail leads to the Lake of Fire!!!
Kindly, I heard this week from a Christian whose pastor just got back from visiting Bob Jones University (BJU) in South Carolina. The pastor told his church about his trip and the things that he saw at BJU. I hear the manner of student dress is shameful, and the enrollment is down quite a bit from years past, and things have changed drastically compared to decades ago. Our Bible colleges are dying because they're no longer standing EXCLUSIVELY upon the KING JAMES BIBLE!!! All modern Bible versions based upon the Greek of Westcott and Hort are corrupted!!!

then you need a pastor that STANDS!!! None of this middle-of-the-road, “We
like the King James Bible, but use other versions too” garbage!!! When money

Bible Colleges Dying To Same Degree They Abandon King James Bible
You look at the Bible colleges that are dying and you'll discover that it's the ones whose pastors are compromising. The pastor makes the church. He sets the tone. He sets the attitude. His teachings from the Bible are the church's heart. If he's a fervent soul-winner, then so also will the church congregation be. If he makes light of the Bible, then so also will the church. The biggest issue I have with Bible colleges today is over the King James Bible. The Devil wants your Bible, so he can give you a substitute instead!
Oh, how we need the Bible in our homes today, because without the Bible you cannot have a Christian home. We need Bible-preaching churches, and that's a major problem today, because there's utter confusion over which Bible is accurate. I'm not confused, I know the King James Bible is God's perfect Word. But the Devil has crept into the churches. Many pastors tolerate and support dozens of Bible versions, but then ultimately claim to like the King James Bible best. What a cowardly cop-out! Pick a Bible man and stick by it!!! If you think the Easy-To-Read Version (ERV) is the one, ok, then stand by it, preach it, and defend it. I can respect a man who stands, even though I believe he is totally wrong.
I'll live and die on the King James Bible, yes that's the only book for me!!!!!!! These sorry rascals went to seminary (they ought to call them “preacher's cemeteries”) and had their brains removed. Don't you dare tell me they all are. There are DRASTIC doctrinal differences between the various Bible versions. They cannot all be God's Word. Anyone who loves Jesus, just as the mother (in the Old Testament) who knew which child was really hers in Solomon's court, will cry out with that poor mother... “STOP! Wait! Please don't cut the baby into pieces. Give him to the other woman. Don't harm the child.” Solomon knew then who the real mother was, that is, the woman who sought to protect, not butcher, and preserve the child. Worldly Churches Because Of Worldly Pastors
We are in a state of denial in America. Pastors tolerate women wearing pants, yet consider themselves non-worldly because they don't drink booze or live worse than they do. THEY ARE WORLDLY!!! May I say, if you abide in the Word of God, you cannot justify women wearing pants, tights or slacks.
If your church has a beautiful music program that sounds like the angels singing; but you have to go home to hear real Bible-preaching on the internet, because your pastor won't stand for God, you might as well stay home or find a genuine church! There's nothing worse than sitting in a pew of an Independent Baptist church, while they're telling Gingerbread Man stories with a spiritual twist for children, and you're sitting there asking yourself... “WHY AM I HERE?” What am I getting out of this? Why are they telling children's stories instead of preaching? This is pathetic! On Sunday's many churches have the Lord's supper, and PREACHING IS CANCELLED. Once a month they meet in each other's homes (called Watchcare meetings, or cell groups) for clapping and singing, and PREACHING IS CANCELLED! Is your so-called “church” like that? Is your church stuck in a comfort zone???

Shame on Moody Bible Institute for permitting their female students to wear pants. I was required to buy a Moody Bible Atlas while attending Hyles-Anderson College (for which I am eternally grateful). I drove down to the Moody bookstore in Chicago. As I looked around the store, some of their students were there, and the females all wore sexy pants. To my shock, I saw a male student with his thumb sticking through a hole in the back of a female student's pants. Yes, in her behind. This is my impression of Moody students until this day! As Dr. John R. Rice warns, if there is social drinking of alcohol, someone will eventually get drunk. And if female students are allowed to wear pants, there eventually will be sexual immorality, uncleanliness, lust and more immodesty. The problem is that our Bible institutions are following the sinful world afar off, when we ought to be obeying the Word of God.
The problem is that Americans want to decide what is right and wrong instead of the Holy Bible deciding. A century ago no one would have dared argue with me about the issue of women wearing pants, because only prostitutes showed their thighs in public. When a woman wears leggings and tights, she's showing her buttocks and thighs. Perhaps you say, “You have a dirty mind.”
No, I have a man's mind. I never thought as a young man that I would one day be hated and attacked by professed Christians for preaching against counterfeit Bible versions, for preaching the truth that Lordship Salvation is of the Devil, for exposing Martin Luther for the unsaved heretic he was (he taught baptismal regeneration), for preaching against women wearing pants, for preaching against Walt Disney's sex perversion, for speaking up for God!!! Sadly, that is exactly what has happened!!! My only wrong is being RIGHT!
