God's Gift for Kids
Everyone is a sinner, less perfect than God. All men, women and children are born with a sin nature and there is no way to escape the fact that you will continue to sin all thru your life. Don't kid yourself by thinking that you will go to heaven because you believe you're not really that bad of a person. No matter how good you THINK you are, you will NEVER be good enough to get to heaven without God's help. This is because of the fact that you must be as good and righteous as God to get into heaven. “As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one.” (Romans 3:10) You MUST be righteous in order to get into heaven and no one is righteous as you can see in this passage of scripture. A lot of people think they might just squeeze into heaven but God has made it clear, there is NONE RIGHTEOUS" and that means YOU! For you to become righteous you must Get God's Gift of Eternal Life. In order for eternal life to be a gift from God it must be FREELY GIVEN without ANY strings attached!! God cannot still call it a gift if He requires you to stop all the bad things that you are currently doing. Any person or church that tells you that you need to stop doing anything in order to get God's Gift of Eternal Life is clueless when it comes to God's plan of salvation. The result and penalty of our sin is death. "For the wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23) The payment for sin is death. Sin is not paid for by good works, penance, church membership, water baptism, confession, donations, etc. I don't care what your church has told you, confessing your sins to a priest will not remove any sin from your life. Your sins are still stuck to your body like glue! If you have only told one little lie during your entire life you are on your way to hell. (I will show you how to get rid of ALL of your sins!) You cannot do anything to help yourself obtain the absolute perfection God requires for eternal life. Being a certain religion does not earn you the right to go to heaven. It is impossible for a sinner to save themselves and get to heaven without God's help. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: It is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9) The one and only way to get to heaven is to trust in the Savior of the world Jesus Christ (also known as GOD) who was tortured and died on the cross TO PAY FOR YOUR SINS!!! You must believe Jesus died on the cross to pay for YOUR sins and trust in that fact.Christ made a complete payment for ALL SIN and offers His righteousness. “For He (God) hath made Him (Christ) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21) You can see in this passage of scripture that when we trust that Jesus made the COMPLETE payment for YOUR sins then God gives you HIS righteousness! That is the only way possible to get to heaven and it’s the easiest thing you will ever do in your life. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) This passage of scripture clearly shows what we have to do in order for God to give us eternal life "we only need to believe (TRUST) in HIM, Jesus Christ". What do we lack? We lack righteousness. God is anxiously waiting to give us His righteousness. God gives His righteousness to whoever accepts Christ's payment for their sin... and He gives His righteousness the moment the person accepts, trusts, believes in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21) ALL man must do to be saved is to Believe Jesus is that Lord who paid for all his sin and Receive Jesus Christ as his Saviour. God gives eternal life only to those who will accept it by faith alone. God will NEVER save anyone who is trying to be saved by their good works, donations, church attendance, being a good person, etc. God will ONLY save the person who is TRUSTING to be saved. Do you get God's plan of salvation yet?? Are your eyes opening up to HIS truth?? "Jesus paid it all, ALL to Him I owe, sin has left a crimson stain and HE washed it white as snow." Notice how the lyrics of the song speaks God's truth... Notice who is washing your sins away... it's never you, it's always HIM doing the washing!!! Remember this truth... If you want to know if you are in a good church or a bad church just ask yourself "Who is doing the washing of my sins?" If you are being taught that you need to be good or you need to go to church every Sunday or you need to give 10% of your income to the church or you need to stop doing something or you need to be very sorry for your sins in order to get to heaven you need to get out of that church FAST! They are not teaching you God's plan of salvation, but their plan of salvation which will send you straight to hell. Always ask yourself "Who is the savior?". If YOU are doing something in order to get to heaven that makes you the savior and if you are the savior you will not go to heaven when you die. Jesus paid for all of your sins on the cross of Calvary over 2000 years ago and it is paid in full. If something has already been paid for why do you want to go back and pay for the same thing again, that's just crazy. Man can know he has eternal life now because eternal life IS eternal. "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is ETERNAL LIFE through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23) Notice, the gift of God is ETERNAL LIFE — not, "life until you sin again," nor "life until you backslide." "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have ETERNAL LIFE, and that ye may believe on the Name of the Son of God." (1 John 5:13) This is written to a certain class of people — not to the rich or poor, American or African, Jew or Gentile, Buddhist or Baptist — but to those who believe on the Name of the Son of God. His name is Jesus. "Jesus" comes from the Greek translation of the Hebrew words "Jehovah Yasha" and means "the eternal, self-existent God who saves and keeps." Those who believe Jesus is the Lord and trust Him to save them and keep them saved can KNOW they have ETERNAL LIFE. You do not need to hope, think, guess, or pray for it. You can KNOW you have it. AND WHEN GOD PROMISES YOU CAN KNOW YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, YOU CAN COUNT ON IT, BECAUSE GOD CANNOT LIE. (Titus 1:2) If all this makes sense to you and you would like to trust Jesus as your personal Savior right now then tell the Mighty God in Heaven of your decision to trust Jesus Christ as your only hope of heaven. Tell Him that you are no longer putting your trust in your actions, or your church, or your church membership, or in your money, but that you are putting all of your trust in Him and the shed blood of the cross to pay your sin debt. Thank Him for giving you the Gift of Eternal Life that He paid for with His life.
By reading this sinners prayer aloud, you
are telling God that you believe Him and trust Him. You are not saved
by saying this prayer, you are saved the moment your mind made the switch
from trusting in yourself to putting your COMPLETE TRUST IN JESUS
CHRIST. That moment may have been five paragraphs up on this page or that
moment may have been on another one of our pages. You will not feel any
different, but you will be changed and changed for the better forever. Once
you have trusted Jesus as your Savior and received His gift of eternal life,
this gift can NEVER be lost. You can NEVER go to hell for ANY reason.
Your past, present and future sins were paid in full the moment you put your
trust in Him. You are blameless and Holy in God's eyes now and FOREVER. If
you have eternal life today what kind of life will you have in five years?
ETERNAL! What kind of life will you have in ten years? ETERNAL!! What kind
of life will you have in 50 years? ETERNAL!!! God does not give probationary
life or temporary life, His gift is ETERNAL LIFE! Thanks be to GOD!
Biblical Salvation is forsaking
any other means of salvation but Christ and casting ourselves fully upon Him
for eternal life. "For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance” Romans 11:29 Again, God is telling you that this Gift of God that you have just received is without repentance. He can never take His gift back for any reason, no matter how bad you get, or how bad your sins are it is not possible. God would have to cease to exist for that to happen because He cannot lie.
